Policy Update for Input Broadcasting Software

You’re really reaching here. The main point wasnt the money you make in the AH but how using many accounts as one give you an advantage over it. Not just in AH, but what they can be used for as well.

Macros arent ‘automated’ or ‘bot’ like they simply press said things at once. But you know whats automated and botty? 3rd party software that controls multiple accounts as one.

And again, Multi-boxer apologizer back at it again with cope and weird loopholes. Stop defending your cheater friends.

No they didn’t.

You need to read it again. They aren’t saying “multiboxing is cheating”.

They are locking down keycloning because people have been going overboard with it.

They could have limited clients to 5 or so, and accomplished the same effect with less fuss.

I would think that their Warden system will be set up to recognise the ‘input broadcasting software’. If you don’t have it on any computers with WoW accounts, you will be fine.

I think it’s funny seeing this now after seeing so many people over the course of years saying it was never going to happen.

You know that most companies ban you for chargebacks, right? Like your whole Blizzard account might be at risk if you do that. But you do you.

Free to Play accounts can only go up to Level 10 characters, and those characters have a 10g apiece cap (50 characters x 10g = 500g). They also can’t access the AH or the mail system at all, so those are not what the multiboxers have been using.

Is it ok to use mirror keystrokes program to send out keystrokes to ONE client thou? I know that there are disabled people who actually uses keystrokes program to be able to play WoW at all…

I don’t have to, you started the discussion, the onus is on you.

This is what you did when you claimed something was cheating when Blizz still doesn’t think so.

Multiboxing isn’t cheating.

Period.

Woo this is awesome!!!

“I was just scouring the shadowlands of all herbs so nobody else gets a chance at them with my multibox army, and I got banned! what da heck blizzard? I was just doing this to get cheap herbs for everyone and not for personal benefit that’s borderline pay2win!”

Oh I can’t wait.

I am more than fine with that. This company went to hell years ago and can stay there

Why would the guy who is quitting the game be upset by getting banned?

Holy crap.

How is multi-boxing software automation? Every single action needs to be activated by the user.
Automation implies botting and things happening by themselves.

Macros in game are more of an automation than multiboxing.

Okay fine

Blizzard decided the standard way multiboxing worked is now forbidden

Better?

lol, quitting because they don’t get an 8x loot multiplier anymore?

Good riddance.

Well, since they have said they are going to quit, I would think they don’t care what happens.

I think Blizzard is very much aware that this will cause some people to stop playing. I can only presume they’ve done their math thing and figured that loosing a small proportion of extra accounts is outweighed by the benefit of people coming back to the game for the benefits to be gained by fairly working the ingame economy.

I actually do using many of these programs daily

The most I ever did was dual-box so I don’t really care. :man_shrugging: (and that was just to level my alts - I never joined groups or did pvp) I think it’s a good change for the game.
