Point Disparities = Carry?

You don’t have to figure out when someone is better than you.

You will never improve if you search only for those players and how to emulate players that can be those ones.

Just play and figure out what you need to do, carries, boosters, not carries, doesn’t matter, just buckle down and focus up

Okay so the answer is gear makes it harder but if you took an 80% shot from a marks hunter than he popped cooldowns and you didn’t react. You can tell huge damage is coming from kyrian arrow + true shot. Gonna want to react with defensives and crowd control

Stuns are very good at stopping marks damage and why marks is generally not a good pvp spec

It seems there’s a disconnect. Call me if you want to talk through what you’re missing.

Yeah in general gear makes it harder but you’re not reacting to damage correctly

Tbf 3v3 isn’t that much better in regard to being rock paper scissors. I feel like people only respect 3v3 as much as they do because that’s how its always been.

To be completely fair I think the lense you see 2v2 is gonna be a little different because you’re a rogue/mage player and that can generally beat everything

???

I’m a Shaman/Warlock team

edit: Told me this was a reply to me. Thanks, WoW.

I don’t really see your point. It seems you’re trying to say that I believe 2v2 is less RPS than 2v2 because my comp can beat most things, but its been my experience and I hear constantly from my friends who play at 3k+ that the situation with RMP/Jungle/Ret war is about as RPS as you can get.

i feel like you are trying to discern different types of carries rather than whether it is a carry or not

person with better gear/skill is pretty much always carrying lesser skill/gear partners

that said there will always be carries, it is literally an inevitable outcome from this system (although that system could easily be changed)

the real question is what changes most peeps would like to see, that would either dilute or reduce the motivation for carries

carries for real money are all bad, but all of it, the normal and the crap, is just normal player behavior in response to bliz’s pvp systems

they already had all of this figured out, basically already figured out the pvp systems (the founders) after a bunch of iterations, then the cash shop metrics guys took over

gold went on the cash shop, and now they are trying to figure out a pvp system that will maintain participation without sacrificing the cash shop driving metrics but keep running into huge backlash because those two goals are simply incompatible if they have any desire to return to the heyday of pvp participation

so we suffer, as their giant ant farm, as the original founders promised they would never do - to never treat us like a giant pool of metrics to bounce things off of, to instead always make sure it was fun first

honestly wow would have been a plain commodity mmo if the current team had made it in the beginning, the guys with the ‘spark and talent’ are all gone mostly - only real talent bliz spends on these days is the f2p style cash shop progression devs from other huge cash shop games

Could you Elaborate on this please?

I think she just means the inherent imbalances between meta and non-meta render 2s absurdly unbalanced.

I’d play 3s if we had a reliable 3rd in guild.

Sorry you had to find out this way :face_with_monocle:

You shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you.

I know this may sound like a crazy thought but here it comes.

Sometimes people with friends will help each other to gear their alts, yes this exists, it’s perfectly normal.

Friends? play with each other? How dare you say such a thing.

Ikr right I just hope the forum moderator didn’t find that personally offensive and bans me yet again.

How dare you use logic and reason to determine why things are done properly and in a healthy way?
