Listen, Paladin doesn’t get lay on hands, dk doesn’t get brez, rogue doesn’t get shroud, dk doesn’t get army of the dead, etc etc. BUT POD IS OK. AND HAVING THE ABILITIY TO BOP POD OH LORD. Literally its giving people who are bad, make a mistake or whatever a second chance. there is no reason pod should be allowed especially with how buggy the visuals and targeting is. And why does it have so much health. Convoke is fine, condem is fine, abomb is fine but ffs POD? BLIZZARD WHAT ARE YOU THINKING.

Pod should be banned in arena for sure.
It has to be an oversight for blizz with all the strange interactions and bugs associated with it:
- Tooltip says do 12k damage and it breaks yet that’s actually not true, healing/mitigation affect it.
- 10 minute cd’s haven’t been allowed in arena in years and years.
- Super buggy and incredibly high nameplate.
- In wsg/twin peaks, a night fae FC gets killed and yet continues to hold the flag until the pod is killed.

I recently did an RBG and a pod popped. I actually couldn’t target it. I was clicking in every different way I could, and by the time I targeted it it was too late to kill it in time. It’s kinda ridiculous lol.

Yea dh seem a little strong with this. Darkness and then auto darkness into a pod after you finally fought through that leech x10000 and getting hunted across the map for 80% of your health bar.
Pod just pushes it over the top. It’s 8.3 all over again.

An arena partner and I did 32k damage to a pod while a healer healed it for 28k and we were unable to kill it. We exhausted our cds to get the kill which would of won us our 3s match. We didn’t anticipate a pod popping up and being unkillable.

Way I see it, the pod is a band-aid fix for the one-shot meta. Maybe make it so people ain’t exploding in a global first, then remove the pod?
It doesn’t have to be banned if they just nerf its HP a bunch and fix its name plate. It can be there and just be bad.
Im also okay with its full removal though

The pod is not a band-aid fix. Literally no one thought i better go night fae so i can get the pod. It just happens that those already using that soulbind happen to also get a free cheat death.
Pod needs to go and/or receive some drastic changes with its interaction and targeting issues. Its not related to the game being a high-burst meta.
According to Warcraftlogs, i can see you are a night fae feral, so I assume you are running the pod soulbind? But whether you do or not, here is a question:
How often do you finish an arena where the opponent has had pod (sometimes multiple mods) that you had to kill and you thought, wow that was super awesome fun and compelling gameplay? I wish all the toons got pod when we came in here!

Nah I play all specs, just happened to log out as feral I guess, and as you could probably see as well I prefer Niya for most content too, but deliberately switch to Dreamweaver for arenas solely because of the pod, like just about everyone else, lol.
Every single time I win an arena game because the opposite team burned their meme one-shot macros and thus then didn’t have the dps to kill the pod and then I res and kill them, it brings great joy to my life.
Then there was this time that a ret pally globalled me and then immediately globalled the pod as well, so maybe we need a double pod, lmao. And I have also been killed through the pod (like the pod spawns and all but I’m already dead, release button and all, thus the pod res doesnt work, yeah it’s buggy as all hell).

No I don’t wish all toons had pod, because that’d be boring and predictable, I like the diversity.
try clicking 50 yds above the pod sometimes that works hit box spawns in sky sometimes.
