Once again I’d like to advocate for an EBG mode for 35/40 man raids but have a question for those who have been doing EBGS for much longer than me. I know that there is the argument that if you had a solo queue only EBG mode and a raid EBG mode, that the raid mode would be dead/have massive queue times.
However, I’ve heard back in Wrath(?) you could queue up as a raid and it got remade so you could only group with 5 people because players not in the raid couldn’t get in. If that was the case, wouldn’t enough people want to join a raid for EBGs vs solo queuing? I could easily see groups on LFG for making EBG raids if that mode were available.
Honestly I would still like to see both options, it wouldn’t be any different than it is now if the raid mode was truly unused.

I agree, that’s the whole point. In fact it might make it more difficult to queue sync into solos. I don’t know. None of us will know until it happens.
Turn on the GM/HWL grind again as a seasonal title.
Add a renown track for recolored rewards.
Add a paragon track after you finish the renown track for no lifers.
Add ensembles of recolored old tier for collectables at certain thresholds.
Turn off backfill.
Add account wide leavers queue.
You just pulled the boomer classic players back to the queue pool and gave casual dads something to do and stay in the battleground for. Bots have been a thing and will be a thing until this game goes offline, which will be never. So the gas lighting bot problem is non issue.
I don’t think that would kill it, there’s a lot of community leaders with different personalities. Not everyone is going to get along in one big group. That said, would there be any negative outcome from adding a raid queue vs what we have now even if it did die?
Yea, once you get the taste of premade on premade epics youll chase that dragon for the chance to do it again. More incentives and rewards would help keep people interested. That being said epics wouldnt be so bad if everyone who Qed was ready to work as a team and not have 1/2 leave or troll when things look tough. However blizz needs to work on the matchmaking so heals/classes are as even as possible. The wargame feature is somewhat hidden and not easily setup. A rework of that would be nice. Regardless we can solve all the problems with great ideas all day. Blizz never seems to care or bother so unfortunately whats the point? Business as usual I guess.
I and other players have offered up several ideas. The one I touted was allow us to queue up a raid. Any spaces left open in the raid become fillable by pugs who choose to be there. As a reward for filling spots, these pugs get bonus honor and a small amount of conquest (even in the case of a loss). In theory this should reward pugs to put in an effort instead of the the mass exodus of pugs the instant the opening clash is lost or lagged to hell (insert toilets).
This kind of goes off a bit but it’s what I’ve been saying:
They could also turn BFA warfronts in to actual pvp. Which is how it should have been in the first place.
Blizzard should engage with community leaders more. I am still asking for community leader tools in game and deep coral pods usable anywhere. Maybe even some rewards or xmogs for community leaders and officers. Leading is a thankless job and we attract more players to your game Blizz.
I don’t have a wishlist of crock pots on Patreon or anything like someone else does. I don’t charge to have people play with us, nor does our partner community Nacho Party.
I lead because people asked for it and have a good time playing with us. Maybe even sponsor some of our fights perhaps? There’s a lot of ideas and lots of fun to be had! Hit us up.
I am glad to hear that the relentless pestering for a new epic worked and we will finally have some new content come Midnight. I am very much looking forward to Midnight and all of DJL is as well.
I completely forgot about warfronts! Those and Tol Barad would be awesome. I also heavily agree that maps need to be reworked but I have a suspicion the code is very…fagile.
But yeah, I know there is so much division about epic premades that if Blizzard did care, they would do something.
I’ll stop, even though that level of respect is never given from the sync queue side, no matter the thread. Good luck with your suggestion, and thanks for at least being honest that changes are needed to make things better for everyone.
Let’s be realistic here “killa”, blizzard clearly does not care or even understand random pvp, to ask them to make it easier for your kind that has been making everything worse in a game mode already abandoned by blizzard is a slap in the face to actual players that care about the game. The game would be in a much better place if you and your ilk simply stopped playing. Blizzard will only care less and less because you drive players away. Now stop the BS and start trying to be honest for once.
Hell if we could get Blizz to hotfix the npcs and vehicles that would freshen things up a good bit. They had it right the start of the expansion then nerfed it in a hotfix. We know they could do it again. The blitzes and boss rushes are not helping anything. Being able to pivot and use a different strat would be good to give pugs an option B if the first team fight is a bust.
