Absolutely agree. If you look at plate armor versus cloth armor there are so many crossovers that it’s amazing that anybody can even bring this stupid topic up in here it’s clear that they haven’t actually looked through the wowhead appearance pages where you can see what all the sets look like otherwise this topic in here wouldn’t even exist at least no rational person would post it again after looking over at wowhead for all of the appearances that dont appear as the armor type that they are.

Absolutely agree open up all of the transmog to be used by any armor type except maybe specific sets
As far as I understand it doesn’t the heritage sets pretty much transmog on to any armor type?
So if I have the dark iron transmog set can I use that regardless of whether I’m using cloth or plate?

These cosmetic sets can be used over any armor type from what I can tell.
They’re literally is no valid reason not to open our collections up so that we can use whatever we want

Its individual taste. It aint because I play Warlock that I want to be dressing purple with skulls on everything.

It aint because I play Rogue that I want jumpsuits and a mask that doesnt show anything of my character.

Its even worse when class identity is tied to race identity. Nearly ever Shaman set is Orc/Troll styled. Which looks awful on everyone else.

Its just example, I love class fantasy, but if I cant individually express how I want my character to look beyond what I am being force fed? Then its boring.

Rogue is one of the funnier ones because if we’re talking about class fantasy than a rogue should look like a rogue should look like a rogue LOL

And yet if you look at the PVP sets that you can buy with the marks of Honor I believe for rogue they absolutely look nothing like what a class fantasy rogue would wear LOL

I don’t have a single PVP set that actually looks like something that a sneak thief rogue would wear
They’re all kind of bright and gaudy and flashy LOL something more along the lines that maybe a jack of all trades Bard might wear LOL
