I’m capped at 15000 plunder.
Nothing left to buy.
Was done with “Plunderstorm” rewards 3 days after launch.
Love the game mode, hate that the rewards were so limited this time around.
Two Items I’d like to buy with Plunder:
These are only cosmetic items that are still available to earn in game, but only through the rated pvp system. So not unique items and not locked to specific seasons.
Plunderstorm isn’t really ‘pvp’ the way other pvp activities are though. It doesn’t even interact with the honor system since it’s technically a distinct game mode.
The best part about that would be the threads saying “Great, now I need to farm EVERY pvp transmog in the game because I’m forced to play this slap in the face of a game mode!”
Vicious Saddles is a no, I think, because you can only get those from rated and Plunderstorm isn’t “real” pvp in that way.
I don’t see the harm in letting you buy Marks with it. You can get those from unrated BGs and weekly quests and it’s only for old cosmetics.

Lol it is PvP. Just because it doesn’t interact directly with honor (an irrelevant point) doesn’t mean that it isn’t players versing other players.
Also, who cares. I’m talking about cosmetics that are almost fifteen years old.
Marks of Honor can be earned through WQ’s and dailies, not PVP.
Honor has nothing to do with Viscious Saddles either. They are earned through rated wins.
I’m only asking for cosmetic rewards for plunder. No player power.

People care a lot about the seasonal cosmetics. That’s why they are still prestigious, and the only reason most of us still go into pvp occasionally.
No one actually wants to PVP in wow. Cept that one guy and he doesn’t ever come out of his basement anymore.
Saddles aren’t seasonal. I’m not saying making the Gladiator mount or the upgraded sets for getting the higher ranks available. Just the rewards that are still purchasable in game now.

I still need to finish up Plunderstorm, been getting other stuff taken care of in TWW. You rack up on currency surprisingly fast. Need to get the black pirate set next then focus on tenders.
Dude, I would live in Plunderstorm if I could get vicious saddles.
Blizzard seems to care about the distinction. Seeing as Plunderstorm’s rewards are distinct and don’t overlap with rewards from other forms of pvp.
And for the record, I’m not concerned about power gains either. Not sure why you brought that up.
I would have liked to see the Trader’s Tender unlocked per season. Since I got it last time, I can’t get it this time. But people who didn’t get it last time are eligible? Weird.
Honor Levels - I don’t do much Retail PVP, so my hoor score is really low. Maybe award a little per match, so I can finally get to honor level 10. lol
Rewards are there to incentivize people to try the new game mode. Enjoying it should be its own reward.

I hated that the tenders were already grayed out cuz I got em last time… Kinda dumb imo
Just like what gets said about Plunderstorm rewards whenever anyone says it sucks and they don’t want to participate:
If you want the reward, go do the content.
Want a vicious saddle - go do the content that awards them.
Want marks of honor - go do the content that awards them.
What next, should we let mission tables award plunder to buy items from the Plunderstore?
I just don’t understand why we can’t buy more tenders? Why gate the amount we can buy? So dumb.
I get Marks of Honor from Legion mission tables, I dont even have to PVP for them. Why would plunderstorm giving marks be bad?
