Can we nerf DH already? Too oppressive and broken. Insane single damage, cleave, and defensive. It’s a literal cancer to the game.
Can we also nerf all locks and BM and Marks hunters please?
DHs need to be nerfed because some of the people playing them have lost perspective (or had none at all) of their ability. Doing the most damage in the game and being one of the least targeted DPS must do incredible things for a players ego.
They are some of the most entitled players in PvP right now. Take this fellow for instance.
Just so it’s totally clear, I don’t whisper people after games and didn’t whisper this guy. I also said nothing to this guy during the game. No reason to either.
But this is how these players think. They see their big numbers and feel the need to crap all over everyone else. This was at 2k on my enhance shaman vs dk/sub/disc. I had no chance of landing a CC. That said, my damage wasn’t all to bad either considering. Also, this guy also had no CC. I get it. Things happen, but it’s always the most busted specs where people feel the need to harass other players.
Time to humble these players.
BM for sure, but why MM? I barely see them.
Its real simple, crowd control their metamorphosis.
Pretty sure metamorphis isnt the issue. Class needs a nerf.
My point still stands, cc their meta and youll win against them
Just line the meta!
They’re paper when blur is out and there’s no more darkness. You can punch em in the face.
this is false.they literally never die
Says the class that can hit for a 300k sniper shot into a 200k rapid fire into a wtf just happened. This is a very invalid point. DH are east to kill especially a hunter LOL
Wow a 2.8 second sniper shot into a 1.5s rapid fire channel to do half your hp bar? nerf now
i made a dh only get 5 blade dances off all game the other night and he still topped damage with ranged damage. quite silly
500k dance dmg 500k melee damage rest ranged
sniper shot? lul get gud
Or hire new devs and l2 balance a game almost 20 years old. SMH blizz.
DH press a button and AOE one shots. How is that balance? Not counting infinity mobility and multiple CCs and defensive… cancer in arenas indeed
If you sort by class representation, the higher you go up in rating, the lower represented DHs are, and even that isn’t completely accurate because they were op early in the season.
The truth of the matter is dh has a low skill floor and high skill cap, so noobs get clapped by DHs.
When you see a class’s representation go down as you increase the rating scope, it’s a good sign that the class is good at punishing noobs but struggles into competent players.
Honestly hate to say it but it sounds like a learn to play against dh problem, not nerf dh provlem.
Too many words trying to act smart. Your class is broken. What you said is a universal truth for basically every class. Doesnt change the fact that your class is overturned at the moment.
Okay, well thanks for calling me smart. I’m certainly not acting so I’ll take it as a compliment.
Also what you said is fundamentally not true and easily debunked by looking at data.
Not only is it easily debunked by looking at data, but the claim that all classes are under represented at high ratings and over represented at low ratings shows a fundamental lack of understanding what representation means statistically, or an aptitude that is too low to see the fallacy of the statement
You’re looking at whatever data you happen to be looking at and drawing whatever conclusion you want to. You don’t have the full scope of data to validate what you are trying to say. Stop speaking generalities out of your bum to keep your class OP.
Do people like you think you’re smart when you type garbage like this? Any person with a half-brain would be able to tell that my statement about those general truths isn’t directed toward the statistical phenomenon you’re describing. For the exact reason that it would be so obviously contradictory.
Get a life kid, your class is OP.
Yes it’s true I’m looking at the data I’m looking at. I’m glad you figured that out.
Anyways, I can share the data with you.
Interesting that you would throw out my claims without even knowing what data I reviewed and whether or not it was sufficient.
Anyways this convo is going no where. This conclusion is so self-evident that I would describe it more as an observation than a conclusion.
I’ll spell it out. If a class has say 10% representation over 1600, then 8% representation over 1800, then 6% over 2100, it can be inferred that this particular class has success into low skill players and isn’t as successful into high skill players.
If you would like help as a player, I’m actually a pretty nice guy, and will give you tips into playing against dh and how to avoid the noob traps. What I won’t do is ignore the data and agree something is op, when the data says it is not.
You already told me what data you are looking at, class representation. The data you actually need is generally not available to anyone who isn’t internal at Blizzard. It’s not complicated that your class is busted regardless of whatever nuances are going on with its representation; the argument that DH is fine because the top % players can play other classes more effectively is pretty brain-dead.
I think it’s obvious you don’t need to spell anything out for anyone. Consider spending less time trying to be some pseudo-intellect on a video game forum. I honestly think its clear you have no real clue how to read data.
