Ice Cream Gnomes!

Yep. Only things that I feel would be (almost) universally positive would be graphical updates and dual spec (triple spec ideally even if it’s absurdly expensive) because while I really like the leveling experience in classic the idea of having to level multiples of the same class to avoid shelling out a ton of gold every time I want to do different content does not sound fun.

Of topic, but what do you guys think about dual spec in tbc? Haven’t heard any compelling reasons against it yet. I should mention that I don’t find the fact that it was originally introduced in WotLK compelling.

I haven’t heard compelling reasons against most of the proposed changes to tbc. But we don’t need any as long as some people are adamant any retail system is the gateway to hell or something.

Another day older and deeper in debt.

Let’s leave some of the changes we are looking forward to where they are, so we continue having something to look forward to.

Cause no one could look forward to the content? just a few random, innocuous changes? Man, people play games for really weird reasons.

Why not look forward to the content and the changes that said new expansion brings. Why do we nee it all “NOW”

"PRIME NOW!!!

Dual spec is content? Strange.

Just proves that the players here aren’t looking forward to TBC at all- it’s no wonder we got retail.

Just a few changes they said, it makes the game better they said, boosts and faction changes and MTs and tokens that let you turn money into gold are slippery slope arguments that could never happen they said.

By the time we get to Shadowlands classic we’re going to be facing off against these people claiming tier sets purchasable on the ShL classic store are fine because people used to buy carries in ShL.

You really aren’t that bright huh.

Do you think cata classic is gonna draw a crowd? LOL

As opposed to “please give us classic but make it like our private server”?

They don’t really want no changes they want all the changes that benefit them.

Dual spec imo benefits everyone though.

More class versatility (especially those such as drood/pally)
More tanks in general as people are more likely to offspec it
Easier time pvping
Removes literally no effort or challenge from the game
You save 50g…big whoop? I mean, it could charge me 50g each time I switch the trees idc, I just don’t wanna go back to the town each single time.

Is there a reason people confuse QoL with content/mechanics?

Removing a gated, minimal, fee that is merely a slight obstacle but in no way preveenting the end goal, is a QOL change.

This change is NOT the same as adding in faction changes, which allowed players to do something previously not possible in the game.

This change is NOT the same as gutting talent trees so that they are boiled down to 3 preset specs.

This change is NOT the same as LFD removing the need for socializing.

All these systems added something players could or couldn’t otherwise do

(swap factions while retaining progress, Making all classes homogenized and removing player choice, removing social aspects that players enjoyed and cross server)

The difference here is adding Dual spec does not add anything the players cannot already do.

I have no problem with changes, boosts, or even wow tokens. I can say that because we both know that the no changes crowd are hypocrites. Also, I wish they would initially roll out the un nerfed form of every raid boss. Lets see if the folks practicing on the easy mode final patch ones can bum rush through the original forms, lol.

I believe they are doing this in TBC as they saw the much more informed and streamlined playerbase of today annhilated wow classic in their sleep.

I sure hope so. Also, I am all for dual spec. I remember when it first came out and how it was a huge QoL improvement.
