It’s been locked for 2 days now. It was supposed to remain unlocked despite low pop due to it being the ONLY RP server. I have a family member literally waiting in the breeze to play with us but can’t create a character there.

Fwoibles said they had to manually unlock the servers after the latest patch fiasco. Apparently, they forgot to unlock Bloodsail Buccaneers.

Hopefully it is a bug and temporary. Communication was that it would remain unlocked:
“Seeing a lot of comments from folks on the Bloodsail Buccaneers RP realm, this realm is considered critically low on population but we appreciate that the RP community can be tight nit and have different gameplay goals than others. We will leave this realm unlocked to new players, but we will still be allowing Free Character Transfers to Pagle for anyone who wants them, thanks for the feedback!”

As Bloodsail Buccaneers is on the Active Servers page, not the Legacy servers page full of locked servers, it appears that Bloodsail was not manually unlocked when the other Active Servers were (after that bad patch that went through).
Please fix this, Blizzard.

The dev team should all be at work by now. Why aren’t we getting an answer about Bloodsail Buccaneers? It’s on the active servers listing, but yet it’s locked.
Manually unlock Bloodsail Buccaneers, Blizzard! You’re choking off the new players and the server by ignoring this!

We’re still locked even after this morning’s server maintenance. I really hope this wasn’t intentional and that it gets addressed ASAP. The ongoing lack of communication and apparent oversight is incredibly frustrating.
As a paying customer, I’m just asking for a bare minimum show of competency here.

Have the 1 intern working on MoP Classic press 2 buttons to unlock BSB and Arugal ffs, you say these pops are ‘critically low’ but there are still hundreds if not thousands of active players on both realms.

Chiming in with the request to please unlock BSB and Arugal! We can’t recruit people with a locked server, and they’re supposed to be open.

Now just unlock it, Blizzard! It was unlocked for a couple days, then all of a sudden got locked again.
Please manually unlock Bloodsail like you did to the other active servers!
This is actually getting wild to me. So lets just entertain for a moment its a technical difficulty issue. In about a 30 second to write post they can be like, “Yesterday morning we attempted to correct this and ran into an unforseen problem server side. Rest assure we are aware and working on the issue. Please be patient, it will return to open status once the issue is resolved”
Boom. Everyone knows why, they are working on it, and only people seething out of control would carry on. Of course by the end of the week toss out a 10 second post with a status update.
Its really that simple. Radio silence is… lol… typical clown show material

At this point, “The AI we gave most of the jobs to has no idea what’s going on, and the guy it escalated this to is on vacation” would make them look better than what they’re doing.
When even incompetence can’t explain it, it’s hard to rule out spite.

I was able to do a Paid transfer to Bloodsail Buccaneers even though it says it is locked. It is a dead server though. No one is over there

FFS We went over this Blizzard! Stop tryna sweep it under the rug like we ain’t gonna remember! Stop screwing these guys over! It does not take this long to fix this supposed bug! And with how you’re treating it, I kinda doubt it is one!
