Please tell us about the new dinar plan

If this were true than most BiS stuff wouldn’t be Raid drops. I’d love to do Mythic+ only and ignore Raids except for doing a Normal/Heroic run once just to experience it.

I’d engage again if A) the lockouts were changed to function like the rest of the raids so I could pug it (I’ve done this before a long while ago) B) the raid size were flexible and C) it didn’t involve weakaura bosses.

I can absolutely see them not implementing them because there’s been such low mythic raid participation.

57 guilds have 8/8M

At least 1,140 people have access to a mythic Eye of Kazan or Jastor Diamond

Can’t let the community get it for free that easy

My guess is they will announce those after the patch is out, and it won’t be anything anyone wants to hear.

The raid is baffling to me. On one hand, if you can clear all 3 difficulties in 1 week and your guild actually shares loot, it’s crazy to gear with.

But on another hand, you could clear normal and half of Heroic and get nothing out of it because your guild pugs people and you don’t run SR sheets or anything, you basically just gear up the rest of the player base.

I haven’t gotten anything from the raid yet lol. I stopped raiding. Not because of that, for different reasons, but that’s just crazy. All my loot has come from Delve, crafting and vault, every single stitch of it. (Haven’t gotten anything from M+ either, on that subject)

Been my experience on my mage for two weeks now. No loot wins in two full normal clears. Lol

Dinars are originally made for end content when all the raids have been put into place and you can cycle through all raids to collect them.

I can see why people would want them back though, because it’s currency to purchase mogs that the DF vendor sells for dinar currency.

Maybe they are changing the currency to something else so these items can be obtainable again.

Hopefully that’s the case for those who missed out.

That a nonsense lie that gets repeated a lot but is still a lie.

People are farming a bunch of BiS items from M+, especially trinkets like Pacemaker, Signet of the Priory, the tanking trinkets from Floodgate & Priory, etc.

Ditto for many powerful weapons over the years. Forgestorm, Crawg Tusks, Poxstorm, etc.

Why do you think Floodgate, Ara-Kara, and Priory topped the poll for season 3’s dungeons? Because of their massively overpowered trinkets, that’s why.

This whole “but the BiS stuff comes from raid” is a hill of crap.

I like them more for the mogs than I did the gear tbh. I think I spent more on mogs than gear.

Maybe Ion should stop crapping all over raiders, like he’s done since the day he took over.

Oh I’m not even talking about wins, just straight up potential upgrades don’t seem to exist.
I basically automatically pass on everything.

Seems like an awful reason to delay the main draw of a patch because they suck at tuning

we cannot gear up our raiders. the trinkets never drop
mugz trinket dropped only one time so far.
we want to push, so majority is doing m+
blizzard is working in mysterious ways…

Most progression raiders, during most of progression, are wearing mostly gear from m+.

It’s been that way for years, now.

Making homemade chicken tenders. Triple dipped! :yum:

100% this. M+ showers you with loot due to having no lockout, and it rewards your failure with inflated ilvl GV slots.

WOW has sadly become M+ or die and has been this way for a while now.

It’d be great if they put as much effort as they do into inventing 432 different ways to make my character stop casting and move in a raid into actually fixing the horrible loot ratio.

But no, they’d rather just recolour another 3 swirlies and focus on M+.

The bis items still come from raid. People voted for dungeons with good trinkets so they could farm them on their own time and feel competitive in damage without committing to a part time job at the mercy of once a week rng

That’s nonsense.

I even LISTED a bunch for you and you’re still spouting the same old lies and debunked talking points.

Raid has some bis items, possibly even the majority, but it doesn’t have all of them. There’s still a decent chunk of bis from m+.

Not to mention raiders don’t necessarily care or get to worry about bis. Raid progress is just about upgrade quantity and crests, two things that m+ vastly outperforms raids at providing. Not to mention raiders are typically extending by the time they reach the second half of the raid, resulting in no more raid loot besides the single progress boss kills, and no vault slots.

Raiders need upgrade quantity and crests which+ provides, and m+ers need upgrade quality and finishing touches for bis gear to push end of season which come from raids.

Neither side is happy, and both sides have valid cause for wanting change.

Whenever any dungeons have good trinkets there’s a small group of raiders who become apoplectic that there are options besides raid logging even though it is healthier for the game for good trinkets to come from dungeons. But most people will be happy!
