Please tell us about the new dinar plan

Very concerned with the patch date released and the content cadence announced that there is no information about dinars on there

The Dinars not currently being datamined in the next patch is kinda concerning

Maybe somebody at Blizzard realized that dinars are a dumb idea and that what they really need to do is triple or quadruple the amount of raid loot that drops, and get rid of the “very rare” drop category?

(I know, I know. But we can hope.)

It kinda seemed like they already thought Dinars were a bad idea, but they got a lot of player feedback saying they liked Dinars and wanted them to be brought back so they said they would

  • Took them from the raid renown track

  • Refuses to go into details about them as 11.1.5 draws near

Lol.

I would genuinely consider raiding again if that happened.

yeah even if thats it like just say something

i dont understand why they wouldnt have said something knowing that the community would be concerned

the issue with this is that people would be forced to raid to get loot, though.

and the overwhelmingly large majority of players absolutely and utterly refuse to engage with the mythic raid because it is simply an unenjoyable and downright obnoxious experience.

Yeah that would be great changes. I average around 1 raid drop per season since DF. Place is pathetic. It’s high time Blizzard realizes WoW should be a completely seasonal game, as in they should let people get completely maxed out in a couple weeks if they put the time and effort into it instead of fabricating these arbitrary time gating system to milk subs.

Regularly scheduled reminder that Blizzard actually REDUCED the amount of loot that drops in raids, in Shadowlands.

Nothing I love more than spending 6 hours a week killing 8 bosses and get nothing out of it. What a blast. True fantasy gaming immersion. 10/10 IGN

Blizzard wants you to be running M+, instead.

That’s ALL they care about, these days.

This is one of the worst things implemented since titanforging.

They need to make it happen this season in 11.1.5 since it’s expected. If they hate it they can walk it back next season.

I’m with Brewa here though, just make raid drop a ton more loot and crests.

Although it’s not really related to these mysteriously-absent tokens, I think raid loot drops are fine, at least as far as organized raiding goes. Pugging is basically the LFR experience every time though, which is definitely going to hurt your roll chances.

Only thing even bringing me to raid is the ultra rare items with additional effects. This stuff was dime a dozen in tbc. Now every piece of gear is unmemorable because stats are 4 flavors of vanilla ice cream.

The upgrades system also sabotages the game.

You used to work your way up during the tier because later bosses would drop higher ilvl gear than the easier bosses - which makes sense, it’s how every game works.

The upgrade system just throws that time-honored game design in the trash because the easiest boss now drops equal ilvl gear to the end boss.

It’s stupid as hell and upgrades NEED TO GO AWAY.

Of course we liked it, more often than not players hate RNG.

Very rarely you will come across some turdburger who decides to white knight Blizzard and talk smack about how it’s great to get that drop after you have been farming for the last 35 years.

But we all know there are more players who want a dinar style system than not. Like I am still chasing a hero neck piece on my main. I have done DFC 46 times on my main, seen the neck piece zero times for myself, not even in the M2-6 I am doing have I seen a neck piece drop.

I can’t tell you how many 7+ dungeons I have done where a neck can drop, yet I still don’t have one. Total I have done so far in S2 on just my main I have done some 200 keys, it’s real bad that some players do this many runs and are still chasing certain pieces of gear, and not even specific trinkets or weapons, just a neck piece.

Lol. They decided you don’t need it so they aren’t giving it to you. What more is there to say?
