Which still leaves us with a ton of drought by the end xD.
Eh, give me something to work for otherwise I’ll probably ignore it.
That being said I’m not and don’t plan on working on the DF meta. That’s a lot to ask just for a ground mount.
That’s quite literally what we got now.
A fully planned out expansion with content drop, after content drop. And ya’ll are still having a whinge!
There also seems to be a golden Elegon mount.
Oh shoot YES you’re right, that one too. I got blinded by the absolute brilliance of that white phoenix lol.
I want the shiny star boi. It’s pretty, and the normal Elegon mount refuses to drop for me ;-;
Raids and dungeons? Because from your profile it doesn’t look like you do any of those. Hence my initial question.
Again, you’re making assumptions here, trying to manage their budget and resources. I honestly don’t get players like you, actively make the game worse by making excuses for a development team that has had major production issues for years.
Do you work for Blizzard here? If you don’t, they stop making excuses. These content droughts are nothing but poor planning.
Yep, I know you quite well HJpellipsis, typical forum apologists. For your information, I have had serious health problems during DF, which has severely limited my ability to play, but thanks for profile shaming me.
You always try to come across as this level-headed poster, but so many of your comments just slide into mud slinging and bad faith arguments. Perhaps it might be time for you to take a break from these forums?
I mean. I’m sure I could find something. But if your actually going to say the game is as popular or active as it was even in legion your delusional. SL had a massive exodus from the game and the majority of the players never came back. Wow has been bleeding players for a long time now
You also don’t work for Blizzard, though, which means you can’t speak on their “poor planning” because you also have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. You ruined your own argument.
So OP is completely ignoring the THREE expansions that are in the works?
Also, OP, you don’t get to speak for the entire player base.
Ahh yes…calling another person a shill for Blizzard when they are happy with getting things from Blizzard. If you hate Blizzard so much, stop giving them money. You give them money, you’re just a ‘shill’ yourself.
What content drought?
Again, we’ve had patch, after patch, after patch.
When in previous expansions we’d have nothing after the final raid. Which launched last year. So if we were still dealing with the Blizzard of old, all we’d have is Emerald Dream content and the Amirdrassil raid. That’s it.
But for Dragonflight, for this year alone we’ve already had 2 significant patch drops, a new season launching in 2 weeks time and another patch on the way. Two entirely new game modes added as well. Which is significant. We have content that will carry us all the way to 11.0 which is the War Within pre-patch.
We do know, they have been extremely open about their lack planning. They have been talking about it for over a decade, they keep promising these droughts won’t happen, and every expansion it is the same thing.
These mini events are not fixing this problem.
Counter argument: I was a new player in Shadowlands, and still unlocked both BFA and Shadowlands flying.
To unlock flying for your character in the first place, all you had to do was level up, and then get gold, that you can easily make off quests before you even hit max level, and boom. You can fly.
Now you don’t even need the gold, or to even go back to town. You just get the ability to fly immediately at 30 / 40, so unlocking flight on it’s own is easier than ever.
Shadowlands flying is literally just a quest reward. Do the launch story quests to unlock Covenants, do Covenant story, and then you can just unlock it in Korthia. Very easy.
For Df you unlock Dragon Riding almost instantly, and all you need to do for Static flight is the story quests up to Emerald Dream (which you would most likely have already done while leveling to 70 unless you only did dungeons), and then you don’t even need to do quests in the Dream, you just dragon ride around the dream for like 2 mins, and then you can static fly.
I’ll admit bfa flying took a lot of effort, but you don’t even need the achievement to fly anymore, so I don’t think new players would be too concerned with unlocking flying there.
You literally unlock flying by just playing the game now, there’s almost no grind for it anymore.
I wish you all the best in your recovery and hope you can do the things you love sooner rather than later.
There’s nothing to focus on.
Casual players ironically killed retail wow
I’d rather they innovate with new ideas/modes than release another patch of the same rehashed garbage
I guess I just disagree. I wouldn’t say they are “required” your absolutely gimping yourself without it. And while DBM maybe only call out obvious things…it makes doing those obvious things easier. I also find it hard to believe anyone is doing mythic without addons. Normal maybe but even in heroic people are using addons.
Your not “required” to wear gear when you raid but you probably should.
This is an exact example of literal shilling.
Please. Do so. I would very much like to see it, and it needs to be directly from a Blizzard source, too. Not a third party site or YouTuber.
