Yeah, I just wish we had more armor like that for Mail. Like, maybe its just me, but that texturing for the Mail looks absolutely sick! Why don’t we get more “Mail” like that? We have plenty of Scale Mail but hardly any Chain or Ring Mail to the point that when we do get some, for me, it feels like an overdue breath of fresh air.
I’d say “ugly” would be the wrong adjective, generic perhaps? plain looking? homogenized? Now granted I like what Blizz did with the Mail Necrolord set, they took their design for shoes and boots with Eternal palace and made it organic by adding shape and form to it, giving it even more of a 3D structure. But I gotta say, the Mail raid set looks like all the set budget was blown on shoulders, lopsided shoulders…what’s with the weird fascination with asymmetry in the Shadowland armors?

I agree, I think you look perfect. I think my Hunters look good too. However, we’re making our own mogs and the complaint is new/old sets look terrible.

The awesome Maw sets in plate also involve a lot of scale.
I mentioned in another thread: If it has mail but looks cool then it’s plate. If it has mail and looks a bit silly and/or is made of dead monsters then it’s mail.

Most the mail sets look awesome, idk what some of you are seeing. The MoP challenge mode for hunters is one of my favorites. The one I’m wearing is also one of my favs. WoD mail looks great on hunters. Mythic Antorus Naga set looks amazing, I plan to finish that mog. I like to look like I wear the things I kill, because I’m a master of the wilds and tamer of beasts. However I wasn’t a fan of BfA raid sets as a hunter though.
I really wish they’d just get rid of mail entirely and change it all into leather. Mail shouldn’t even exist.
