dude, you lost… Just let it go
Well if you say so, it must be true.
Seems to happen most when I use an ability with an odd cost like rake 35. Ticks go wacky.
Rather than getting normal ticks of 20 I’ll go from 100 use rake down to 65 then partial tick up to 78 or something weird.
If anyone can test this or know why lmk. Weird ticks still happen on evens but they seem to be far less often.
Your entire weak argument relies on one post from an ignorant CM.
And even that doesn’t hold water. An “unintended change” to an unintended playstyle is a nonstarter as an argument. It’s utter nonsense!
It’s like using a new wrench as a hammer, and then complaining that it’s not as good as your old wrench for driving in nails. The company didn’t break your wrench. You were always using it improperly.
The ghostcrawler link was the final nail. They saw druids using their wrench as a hammer, and they didn’t like it. It was unintended which makes it a video game exploit.
In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game’s designers ; however, the precise determination of what is or is not considered an exploit can be controversial. This debate stems from a number of factors but typically involves the argument that the issues are part of the game and require no changes or external programs to take advantage of them.
Pretty sure the “ignorant CM” has drastically more credibility then a forum trollol, but that is just my humble opinion.
Lets not forget the basic fact that it was not in the patch notes. Unless you think that nerfing a top end dps of a class by 14% is minor detail that is not important to be mentioned in the notes, unlike QoL change to make sure innervate always provides same amount of mana is. Even if it was a bug or exploit like you baselessly claim. It would still be important enough to be in the notes. But it was not.
While we at it, one trollol already tried to provide “proof” it is was exploit or a bug lol. He failed miserably, maybe you would like to try?
I genuinely do not understand who you trollol think you are claiming you in anyway shape or form know what and how blizzard intended. None of your kind have yet to provide a shred of evidence that is in fact so. And no Wrath FAQ does not have anything even remotely close to calling it an exploit. No worlds even remotely close to a bug/exploit/unintended behavior were never used in relation to powershifting. The game evolves, directions change they decided they want to move away from powershifting for cats and they provided a toolkit in wrath that discouraged it and and it worked.
And even that doesn’t hold water. An “unintended change” to an unintended playstyle is a nonstarter as an argument. It’s utter nonsense!

Well other than the fact that they did nothing about it in TBC and when blizzard took a serious look at feral dps in wrath they completely moved away from power shifting.
“Show me evidence and reasoning!!” - she demanded
And so they did.
“NOT THAT KIND OF EVIDENCE!!!” - she screamed
And lo, the people were sad.
I am totes sad, and have definitely seen the evidence now.
I didn’t know they had it under the “not a bug” area till a few days ago.
My understanding is historically this was not changed until the final patch of TBC to be this way, which is what they’re going off of, fair point.
After trying something else, wasting my boost, I decided I’d still rather level through 60 just to play Feral in TBC either way. But the loss of the tic energy does feel pretty bad but also wayyyy less fun.
There have been some changes to warriors and paladins that didn’t exist at all if I read those notes right and slightly twisting one of the two energy dials on either the feral or resto tree is something quite reasonable in my opinion but I’ll be playing Feral either way.
And they never changed mechanics of any single class between any other expansions right?
Survival hunters were a bug and exploit because in one of the expansion blizzard made them melee. Thus any time someone used a bow with them before that is an exploit right?
The logic eludes you trollol.
Feral still unplayable. I feel bad for anyone I see actually trying in game.
What evidence? I explicitly asked you what in your strange mind in that link points to the fact that blizzard considered it to be an exploit/bug/unintended behavior. Nothing even resembling any of these terms were used in regards to powershifting. Outside of the fact that blizzard decided to take cats in a different direction and completely rework their dps system in WRATH, which we well aware before that doc, there is nothing there.
You don’t have to personify the description so readily. Try a bit next time.
No one is mocking your 504, this is a safe place, we love and support you.
So no more even pretending you not a trollol? Expected i guess.
If that is your truth then who am I to deny you?
you are trollol and until now you had zero issues denying peoples truth with your trolling. Only when you ran out of any meaningful arguments and fell flat on your behind you resorted to the core basic trolling. As expected.
/headpat
You’ll grow up and get the joke one day.
Have we still not gotten a formal response from blizzard or did i miss it in my 70 grind?
Am i safe to assume the troll blood is “working as intended” at this point, because if so can we call it a quality of life change to the previous system since that wont change our damage litteraly at all compaired to the butt chug?
But it did change it, it got buffed as long as you use potions!! How dare you to be unhappy about it.
Yeah i thought it was an increase in damage over the previous system but i havent done enough testing to make the claim myself. This is me requesting a nerf to the previous system.
