Please revert feral hotfix/use 2.0 energy [FIXED, ty Blizz!]

You didn’t even mirror your original argument here…

14 years later Blizzard doesn’t think your avatar not updating isn’t an issue (because it isn’t)

Not really, blizzard made a change, that change worked exactly as intended. The impact of that change on power shifting was deemed unimportant, whether that decision happened before or after the fact is irrelevant.

Ooooooooooh. You’re a literalist.

I’m so sorry. I’m so so sorry. I didn’t mean to disrespect your 504 plan. Truly.

Don’t worry about this, you can believe you’ve won the discussion. I won’t take that away from you.

this is a drop in a bucket, 100s of bugs were reported and never fixed basic fact. This is just the one that actually affect this “discusion”. Maybe you like your buddy will argue it is not a bug either now lol.

Your roof is leaking? I’m terribly sorry.

I did ask you quoting here “anyway shape even remotely” That is very very from literal. Just saying.

No worries, you’ve convinced everyone. I got your back.

Except this isn’t a bug, you disliking a change doesn’t mean it’s a bug.

Jsut because you keep repeating it like a parrot does not make it true. Unintended change = bug. Reason they didn’t fix the bug COULD be the fact that they think it is ok. Or it could plenty of other reasons, such as work on next expansion, no clear way to fix it without breaking something else falling through the cracks etc. You continue to without a shred of evidence claim that you magically know why exactly. No matter how many times you will repeat it it will not make it true or be an evidence.

What is not a bug? The fact that avatar is not updating correctly? You still sane there?

You knot liking energy ticks as is does not means it’s a bug.

Ziryus, you’re my hero.

So upon further reflection, and actually playing, I must say that whether this is a bug or not is irrelevant.

The fact is that the change is not good for Feral DPS by more then a 10% nerf.

There is no reason Druids should sit by and say “that’s okay, because that is how it once was” when they were already not anywhere near the top of the charts.

Forget raids, this makes doing every aspect of the game harder for feral Druids (questing, 5 mans, farming, etc…) and that is unacceptable considering the slower speed Druids already do these things compared to some other classes.

100% true. But blizzard saying it was unintended effect of a different change does. Minor detail.

Guys stop responding to Fasc. He’s self absorbed and thrives on reading his own responses. Definitely someone to ignore, he’s a hindrance to every post thats made.

Just curious, what’s your stance on the SS of a Blizzard developer stating that they weren’t even aware of the energy change, and originally made the hot-fix to fix Innervate/Evocation?

IIRC its a post by a CM, not a Dev, on the EU forums. There was no follow up and the Devs seemed unconcerned, it was never changed the rest of TBC, and in Wrath you had to spec Furor for any kind of continuous Energy to even count, but all it did was retain it, no gains.

In short, I don’t find it very interesting, especially since current Devs declared that very change to be “not a bug”

Just read about this on https://pastebin.com/NgwrQkK1. So apparently, we’re only losing 20 energy per shift? That doesn’t seem like much!

It is a lot in terms of pure DPS lost, but we’re also not talking about a spec that does much DPS in the first place. Until we get 4pT4 and other goodies, we can’t even try to be real DPS yet.
