It was in “not a bug” list since May 18th and refers to the fact that it works exactly as it did in 2.4.3. That is however now what this thread is about mr trollol.

Can y’all please change it back? It’s not even reworking the class or spec of the class, it’s just changing the energy regeneration ticks to something it was before.
It’s very fun playing feral with power shifting, maybe you (Blizzard) don’t like the idea or fantasy of power shifting, but your player base enjoys a faster pace play style and the increase in DPS.

Fasc has over 160 replies on this thread and yall are STILL trying to reason with him? He clearly just likes to argue, cause he’s admitted that he thinks using 2.0 energy is the best option in one of his own threads.
You know you can go into preferences >users > ignored and then any player you put there will no longer send you notifications when they reply to you.

I’m pretty sure that’s what blizzard did to this thread since y’ll keep bumping it despite blizzard making it clear this isn’t an issue.

I remain confused why you think this is a point that is relevant. Why do you think DPS nerfs only matter to high performing dps? Are you saying it would matter more if BM hunter got direct nerfed 15% dps for no reason? Also, 83.
Thats a good point, another reason they should chance it back since i wont matter to the other classes. Please changet it back blizzard.

If you’re going to post number of posts from various people it’s very relevant that you include post counts on both sides of an issue.
Only one side of the issue claims to have a vested interest in the discussion. The other is here because… Um. Still unsure? Defend Blizzard’s honor? Prove cat is not for fite? You still haven’t really elucidated us as to why on the hell you are so invested in NOT buffing cat besides a weird “it wasn’t a GOOD dps until wrath and all values between GOOD and BAD are the same”. And even then, it still makes no sense why you would actively campaign against it. Truth and justice or something?

It seems helpful to try to educate ferals that in TBC the tree is about more than just kitty scratch. The reality is if you want to just play cat in TBC you can, the energy change doesn’t impact that, you were never being brought to a group that cared about numbers for your dps anyways.
So the people acting all upset that this somehow prevents them from getting a group are just being silly.

Well apparently I haven’t done it since people are still asking for an update. As such I’ll keep doing my duty and informing them of blizzard’s stance as well as the over all viability of feral which is very good despite some people not understanding feral doesn’t become super dps until wrath.

Ok, let me ask you the question in another way. We might get there eventually.
Why do you think that, despite the fact that this is a pretty blatent nerf to DPS, there aren’t many people coming to say “my dps has been nerfed, I need a 15% buff”.
Why do you think the majority of arguments being made take the form of “this feels like crap, fix it”?
Further still, why do you think that when extrapolating on why that is the case, or what people want changed, they don’t say “give me a 15% damage buff, that will fix it”, but rather “drop the cost of shred to 40” or “increase the energy gain from furor to 42”, or similar ideas?
You say you’re educating people that their dps isn’t the reason they aren’t getting into raids. You aren’t. You’re missing the point almost entirely. The DPS matters. It matters in raids. It matters more in groups. It matters even more in duos, or in arenas, or other places still. But more importantly than all of this, it matters because it feels like crap. It plays slower. It plays seconds slower on an already slow spec.
Why do you think people came across the troll’s blood potion “bug”? Do you think it was by chance? Or perhaps because people were looking for avenues to address an extreme change to gameplay?
It feels like you two think you’re out to gotcha us and catch us out in a lie, that we’re all just dirty rotten scoundrels who want more dps. It’s simply not the case. We want the spec to go back to feeling like it actually was at the time. We also want the dps back, but we want the gameplay back.
