Please remove the reputation requirements from memory of unity

The dailies don’t even give rep. You just have to do the world quests and maybe kill a few rares to fill up your weekly bar.

I’ve been playing since burning crusade and this is one of the easiest “rep grinds” they have ever had in the game.

Right, but you’ve been playing since patch launch. So you’re just proving our argument correct. You require to login daily for 3 weeks minimum before you can hit revered. So those of who without steady schedules who can only binge once every week or two, are at a severe disadvantage because we do not have the same commodity you possess (free time daily) we possess free time more in terms of days at a time we can play, just not everyday straight.

So again, getting the legendary memory for us is out of reach for weeks beyond when the next memory drops after chapter 7.

That’s frustrating for people like us who have 12 hours per day to spend on weekends or once every two weeks, but no ability to play seriously on the daily basis.

Yes, but world quests and their spawn rates are also limited, so same theory different name.

No one is complaining about the amount of effort required, they are complaining about the specific time frame in which you can complete the effort otherwise “snooze you lose”.

You get a belt for completing the questline. The rep just unlocks the memory. You aren’t at a significant disadvantage.

only thing that makes me sad XD is i use the Cov power on my Paladin and warrior on Belt already. so ill have to destroy them for the mats to make a new one. honestly i Felt like just The power should have been the quest reward, and just everyone craft it. but it is what it is, glad I’m a Human for the bonus rep and I’m almost revered XD

I really don’t understand why the dailies don’t award Reputation.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see the return of reputation tokens in the chests. That would be a great way to help supplement the catch-up for those who are behind, but I wouldn’t hold my breathe.

The one system they have always been pretty strict around has been reputation. You have always had to gain the rep slowly on your main and then you were able to buy an item that aided your alts; that was their way of dealing with alt-friendliness grinds, but that’s entirely different from your point.

Sure you are. My current legendary is a belt and my only choice is to

1.) Spend more money to craft another legendary that a lot of other people won’t have to do, just so I can use the belt or

2.) Wait until I hit revered, which will be several weeks after everyone else so I can access the memory.

Both of those to me are significant disadvantages. I’m sorry if me spending gold isn’t a disadvantage from your view point, it is from my view point.

If you almost never play I fail to understand what you need to immediately craft a second legendary for. Use the default belt. :man_shrugging:

I guess my question is, if you’re playing so infrequently why does it even matter if you’re going to have to wait longer to get these things?

You’re not missing out on anything cuz you’re not really playing that much. You’ll get it when you get it. No one is rushing you; no need to rush them to tailor it to your playstyle. At least how i see it

2 hours of progenitor essentia farming will give you enough gold for a legendary, and you can break down your old one to make a cheaper legendary if you are that broke.

I’m sorry you don’t want to play the game, but that is what it is right now.

Oh I see, because I only play once every two weeks but I have 4 days off at a time, I should feel significantly less excited about my play time thank you? I understand, sounds like I am a second class citizen or something.

Just because I cannot play 60 minutes per day doesn’t mean I don’t play for 8 or 10 hours per day for multiple days in a row when I get the opportunity. Why should my progression be behind everyone elses? I am advocating for a system change, not arguing the merits of the current system. The current system is current, so it is what it is. I disagree and I am asking for a change that hurts literally no other human beings in the game. Which is to simply put the same effort to catch up to current levels as everyone else.

Why is that so hard to understand or for people to be okay with.

So if you can play once per day for 1 or 2 hours per day but I can play once every two weeks but I can play 8 to 10 hours per day for several days in a row, I am now a second class citizen or my fun time should be more inhibited than yours, because you’ve now decided I “don’t want to play the game” despite the fact that every single point in this thread I have made has simply been “please let me play the game the same amount of time as everyone else, just at different intervals”.

People are really cruel it seems when it comes to having understanding for any other human being than themselves. I mean your schedule works for you so it should work for everyone right?

Sure, current system stinks. That’s why I’m asking the developers to consider a better system.

Probably because we literally had to log on every day to get the rep. 0 reason to change it now, you have any idea the backlash it would cause? You think we wanted to log on daily and rep grind? Think its fun? At least you can now use a contract, be thankful, all of us that hit revered didn’t get to use anything for help…

It does make sense, though. Not to mention the fact that it’s ALWAYS been this way. If you don’t play the game, then you don’t get the rewards. If you don’t play the game as much as the person next to you, you don’t get the semi powerful item that will be good for a few months at the same time as they get it.

There are people who are already Revered - because they put in the time. I’m nearly there, because I chose to not put in as much time as them. You’re not there yet, because you made the same choice. It doesn’t matter if you were working, or playing Elden Ring, or watching sports, you got something else out of it besides the rep you need for the legendary item. Whether it was beating a different game, enjoying whatever else you watched, or literally getting paid by your job - you got your reward and now you’re pissy because you want the one I’m getting, too.

Right - and you’ve chosen not to until now.

I earned one mage tower skin. Would have nice to have the others, but I didn’t put in the effort for it. They should not be brought back - they were special in the moment rewards.

The game isn’t designed to be played that way. The argument could be made that they tried to do that in WoD and it was a disaster. You are choosing to play a game that requires more consistent time than you’re able to dedicate to it. Not getting X item when everybody else does is a consequence of that.

Either way you are recrafting a legendary so I don’t get your point.

On the contrary, you’re implying everyone who has put in the work is second class to you.

It is not a choice if I’m deployed out in the field for a week at a time where I have no access to electronics or internet. It’s an unfortunate necessity of the career I chose long before wow.

Freedom isn’t free brother, I hope you enjoy your warm bed every night and conveniences that others sacrifice for while they get penalized in their off time because they couldn’t log in every day.

Cheers.

I don’t understand why they don’t give the player an option like virtually every other quest that rewards gear.

Why does it have to be a belt? Why can’t I choose a cloak or a ring?

In fact… why isn’t it just a ring… we have two of them. :man_facepalming: It literally doesn’t interfere with gearing in any way.

And just give us the memory with it so we can change it / upgrade it if we desire at a later point.

You are so close to the point if it was any closer it would be going through your skull.

On the contrary to your contrary, I’m saying me not being second class to everyone who did the work daily instead of weekly wouldn’t make them a second class citizen. They still have their rewards.

Human beings just love to make someone else the under dog so they can feel like they have something of value, trust me, I see a lot of bad on this earth in my line of work.

Which they earned. Now go earn yours.

“I can only play for 30 minutes every two weeks. Blizzard why do I not have a full tier set this is ridiculous and discriminatory”
