Please, remove the possibility to cast Death Gate in BG (Alterac Valley mostly)

Please Blizzard, can you remove the possibility to cast Death Gate in BattleGround.

I know, people will say just look and don’t click, but when it’s cast over a soul well right at the same time you click, nothing you can do about it.

Ok, from now on I’ll gimp myself a little and won’t take any consummable since people are troll and just want to annoyed others the way they can.

But Blizzard, it’s not that hard to code it not to be available in battleground.

I cast that thing all the time at the gate, ontop of soulwells and tables…working as intended

I use it to remove bad players. I also dropped mole machines before that. And stonard ports before that

I would rather they invest development on other things such as fixing Call to Arms honor bonuses, than ensuring that dingalings don’t click Moles, Death Gates, or anything else that is incredibly obvious when standing at the opening gates of an AV game.

Literally just happened to me too. now I can’t re-queue cause I am a deserter. I was trying to get a lock cookie. not click a death gate. why the hell would those even be able to be used in a BG?

Yep. It happened to me too the other day. Those death gates aren’t just randomly appearing on top of soul wells. Its done intentionally. DKs aren’t just casting them for no reason. If you’re a DK and join a BG but for some reason want to cast your death gate to get out of there instead of leaving then have the decency to at least wait until the AV gate opens or do it away from other people. There is no other reason a DK casts a death gate in a crowd of people in the AV cave than to try to get other DKs to click on it and get forced out with a deserter debuff. They need to change this now. This spell should not be able to be cast in the AV cave. Same with any other spell that could cause something like this to happen.

This spell could of been scripted better, I’ve seen other objects in game you can completely click through with the mouse, they should do that for everyone but the dk.

If you can’t notice a DK casting Death Gate, then maybe leaving the PvP area is a good idea for you.

It’s like an IQ test for AV, kind of like mage portals, mole machines, etc.
