Got to admit the OP has a point. Replacing a well received and beloved tool with a really shady clunky one in the name of ‘we know best for our community’ (they think they do, but they don’t) mentality is just laughable at this point. Granted if they made the tool reasonably good they might have pulled it off. But the 3 man team working out of the basement that isn’t allowed to do anything that draws attention away from dragonflight isn’t going to pull it off. Apparently even using the tool from shadowlands that would have probably also been able to pull it off isn’t in the deck either.
Just a great example of thinking something, refusing to listen, and eventually wasting everyone time over ego and pride in my opinion.

Do you hear how hollow that sounds? You can clearly see i’m correct in the accurate wording. As much as you might like the hyperbole of “we” seeming to mean “all of us”
But you’re not correct. “We” does not imply everyone. Like I said, the definition requires at least two people for the word to be correctly used.

Honestly, I’d like it if they added both, rather than removing the new tool. The new tool can help find groups for stuff other than dungeons, like group quests, since its easier to list yourself on the new tool with “LFM The Amphitheater of Anguish” than having to spam zone chat.
But yes, I agree that RDF should be added back for dungeons. It frees you up to do stuff in game while you wait for dungeons, like go pick herbs, or dailies vs having to stare at a box for a group.

Hell yeah. I mean the tool can stay. No one will use it with or without RDF… thanks addon creators that will make something better in a few weeks than Blizzard could shill out in a few months… but most importantly…

I’m a little worried ever since I read the bulletin board LFG addon hasn’t been updated in a long time and we’re lucky it works in TBC classic.
Joining an active guild may be the only good option. Pugging will be very clunky.

Exactly. RDF only stops you from making your own groups if you actually decide not to make your own groups. If RDF just does it so much easier and these people ultimately fold to it for whatever reason then obviously it is the superior path thus why in the hell would you remove it.
Respect what they are trying to do. Just have zero respect for the path they are trying to take to get to it. Removing RDF will not increase anything social in this game. It will only decrease the amount of content run and back burner content faster.
