It’s frustrating because I can look at the map with TRP and I can SEE all these dots for RPers. And then I drop map and in my shard, I can see maybe 5? 10? The area looks healthy, but it’s across so many different shards that we aren’t really seeing each other.
I came back to WoW after a year hiatus - the longest I’ve ever taken. So did a lot of RPers. Blizz is going to end up losing us all over again if we can’t get the sharding turned off.

I can look at the map and see all the other RPers in Stormwind right now - which is very thrilling considering I’m the only person I can see in the entirety of the city. Flew around, not a one in sight. I already… did the leveling content. I’d like to be allowed to enjoy the part of the game I normally pay for, too.

Very true, since one of the ORIGINAL reasons sharding was removed in old areas was because of the Tournament of Ages and people struggling even in raid groups to all get into the same shard, I doubt they would know that though.
Yep! It should, they can always use premade group finder or a friend to hop to another servers (sharded) Stormwind as well since that option is ALWAYS available.
People do RP events there but it’s not good for walk-up RP.
Both of those are sharded.
Because not enough people are actively sitting there? Do you have characters parked in those locations just waiting for people to show up out of curiosity? If not, why suggest others do something you’re not doing?

Sharding keeps the game from crashing. MG needs the sharding, maybe go spend some time in other zones. Too many people just sit in the city and lag it out.
As a level 10 on stormrage…I don’t think you have the experience, knowledge, or technical expertise to comment on this.
But you know, as a person who is in Stormwind daily…what would I know.
