Don’t know how some of you other guilds held up but I posted here before that Kelris ruined my first guild the other month because it was too difficult for us (we also had a bad comp). We aren’t mythic raiders and we shouldn’t need to build a sweat comp just to kill classic content
Anyway I joined a new guild and it took us about 4 weeks of prog to get Kelris down consistently and it was such a headache each raid. Gotta better at the end with more gear but still, this was like mythic on retail.
Hoping gnomer doesn’t have a Kelris boss, this isn’t SoM so I was hoping the fights would be a bit more fair.
What makes this story truly unbelievable to me is the number of people who gave you all the strategies, tactics, and tips for trivializing Kelris in your first thread, only for you to now claim in this thread that your second guild took four more weeks to get Kelris down.
How is that possible? Did you just not tell your guild what everyone told you in your first thread? Did you sit on all that information and laugh at your new guild as they struggled for 9 lockouts on a boss that was literally solved back in Week Two of SoD?
Also how did you “clear every lockout” for the entirety of Phase 1 if Kelris broke your first guild and held your second guild at bay for 4 weeks/9 lockouts?
They have already stated that they intended for the final bosses in BFD to be more difficult and plan to implement that into Gnomer. If you guys are struggling that bad, sounds like you should join a more experienced guild as Kelris really is just a DPS check with some interrupts. That is it, the end. Very simple fight mechanically, just cant be a drooling potato doing 50dps
The only thing about Kelris that could be considered a “guild breaker” is the epic staff and I’m sure it won’t be the last boss that drops contested BiS loot.
Agreed. Kelris single handedly destroyed my guild and ruined my holiday break back in December. And then when the purple staff dropped, it got ninja’d.
