Like I have said multiple times the gear needed to do 30k dps which would be enough to kill the boss was obtainable in battle for dazar alor a year ago. Since then without changing ilvl significantly we have been given essences and corruption and huge amount of stamina on the neck.

I need exactly 2 encrypted texts to get the rank 2 essence and if it weren’t for the fact I have Weds off this week and will, in theory, be going to raid with my friends guild, I would be sitting in queue for appox 45 mins to suffer through wings 1 and 3 (I will not do 2 anymore). I pray for raids in progress. I hit Skitra this week because I didn’t realize I couldn’t get texts from heroic and LFR and did something like 3x the dmg done of the 2nd highest dps. And the INCREDIBLY arrogant tank was resisting the official strat of one tank marking and then them talking to each other to identify which was the real boss. Which I have never had happen before. Every week the queues get longer and the quality of players gets worse.
That’s actually a plus to BFA. No player with a high ilvl wants to be dragged into LFR screaming and kicking.

You keep talking a big game, but how many times have you successfully killed N’Zoth on LFR difficulty exactly? I’ve done it once after 10 attempts and will NEVER go again.

Vexiona is actually a challenging fight simply because of the heavy focus on adds and the need for cleave as well as her obnoxious anti-haste final phase. Il’gynoth is also fairly challenging because of the increasing number of adds and the rapidly declining amount of room to move around in because of the puddles. Inquisitor can be a nightmare if you don’t have at least one competent soccer player. There was a time when you could fail 2-3 times and have it not be a wipe because people were decently geared, but the overall gear quality in the last couple of months dropped to new toons and alts because everyone got all their transmog and pets whatever reason they were in there for.
Why would I do it on lfr? I went in twice to confirm it’s as easy as I thought and that bad players are the problem. No need to go back. I pugged it on heroic on my monk in last easons gear after I decided to pick up another alt. Are you seriously trying to tell me it’s tougher numerically or mechanically on lfr than heroic or mythic?
You’re an idiot. The two are completely different. Mythic and LFR are COMPLETELY different. LFR is difficult because of the low skill of the population and their bad gear. Mythic is difficult because of extra mechanics and intentionally harder elements (some of which can be overcome by simply getting geared enough to meet the challenge). As long as people are doing LFR to get gear, they will never have adequate gear to defeat N’Zoth without 8-10 Determination stacks. And the skill issue is something else.
If I go kill N’Zoth on Heroic tomorrow and get AOTC, is that somehow going to demonstrate that N’Zoth on LFR isn’t OVERTUNED for THAT COMMUNITY? Don’t compare apples and oranges in an attempt to look clever, because it just makes you look stupid.
I’m telling you, that for that COMMUNITY/POPULATION, it is too difficult. Your elitist trash attitude of “oh, I graced them with my presence and saw how easy it was, but deigned not to dirty my hands by playing with unwashed peasants and killing it (ie you could not kill it lol, but tell me how good you are)” is hilarious. Surely someone who will kill N’Zoth on Mythic should just be able to carry all the suck of LFR?

Like I have said at least 3 times, the dps requirements were doable in bod gear.
Since then we have corruption doing insane % of our dps for free and essences doing a large chunk for free too. All that without increasing the ilvl at all. Higher ilvl gear is thrown at you from world content too.

That’s exactly what it means. THAT COMMUNITY can just read the dungeon journal or watch a video. I’ve only seen the fight twice and could figure out what to do on LFR.
No people should have to do at least most of the fight properly in order to earn a kill.
To people who are actually skilled at the game. The average skill of an LFR player is between 20k-35k gear in ilvl 400 gear. These people are not good at the game and would NEVER be able to see Normal raiding content. That is what LFR is supposed to exist for. It’s supposed to be something obtainable for them. And the entire concept of Determination is supposed to make something able to be overpowered if you stick it out long enough.
And I think most people CAN do most of the fight properly. I just think that at 10 stacks of determination if you can’t zerg down phases something is wrong.
Press the big button in the middle of your screen every 61 seconds. If everyone does it it’s a free kill.
Let’s put it to you this way. Not only did I have to weed out 99% of the bad dps from the raid that killed LFR N’Zoth after I bullied my way into Raid Leader, causing a dozen people to rage quit because the very vocal priest in Heroic Ny’alotha ilvl gear who was trying to make them play in a way they didn’t want to, I had to then FORCE both tanks, several healers and at least half the dps, specifically the Psychus dps into Discord in order to properly explain the fight and be able to give out verbal warnings.
NO fight on LFR should require that level of coordination. And I did council of Shivarra in Antorus LFR when it was relevant and not even that required voice coms.
I just watched the video and saw the bar fill up all the way from 30 sanity.

If it’s too difficult then lower the difficulty, but lower the rewards as a compromise? Would that work?
