I don’t want to see the fight nerfed. It’s actually a fun fight, people just need to stop playing like potatoes.
Took me roughly 3 hours in LFR to get the kill. It is possible, it just requires people to stop treating it like every other LFR fight.

I’ve done it on 2 toons and one of those was on a Monday
I liked that we have to do mechanics in an lfr fight.
Nearly all bosses in Ny’alotha is easy with less people. Only one that is better with more is Ra-den and maybe Xanash.
If a LFR boss is taking hours to complete then its probably too difficult for LFR. Like others have said there are no dedicated raid leaders and you are generally with 24 strangers that you won’t ever group with again. People who want content like this have 3 other difficulties they can wipe to till their hearts are content.
Personally I have found all LFR completely useless this expansion. The rewards have been fairly meh. Then again I haven’t exactly enjoyed the dungeons either but that is another topic I suppose.
Queued it a few times and died. No, they shouldn’t nerf him. If you don’t learn the mechanics, it’s not N’zoth’s fault. People need to step up. I mean we’re talking about an entity that was around long before any of us were here for crying out loud. It better be a damn challenge.
People saying: “MaKE PEOplE LeArN to PlAy ThE gAmE!!!” Are totally out of line and CLUELESS
That’s why NORMAL HEROIC AND MYTHIC EXIST,
Blizzard NEEDS to remove more of the mechanics from this LFR fight that requires an 18 step guide to complete.
The Devs are idiots and I feel they are trying to compensate for the absolute lackluster response that they got to the final boss of BfA
First of all this boss was made before that lack luster response happened because it obviously had to be made before it could be released…
Secondly
There is a 12 step that covers everything.
There’s been plenty of bosses where it was clear people just needed time to learn.
THis is not one of them. People will NEVER learn. ANd even if they do, the vast majority wont.
That’s their problem.
I dont care how many months this fight will be around. AOTC then unsubbing pfft. Screw doing mythic I have more financially profitable things to stress about LOL.
i remember when LFR was actual raiding…
During SoO it had basicly the same mechanics as normal… just health and damage scaled a lil lower.
It was part of the gear grind back then. A way to flex out that 4 set.
LOL - no, they are not. In fact, they are incredibly intelligent people that have produced an AMAZING game that has thousands of nuances and yet all works really well together.
Now, PLAYERS being idiots …ya, that is the actual problem. Not the devs.
Please never be in a position where you are teaching people anything. This includes parenting.
That’s not true, the LFR fight was released over a month after the mythic version was released. After seeing how much people hated the ending/cinematic and the drama that happened during the world first race, they clearly overturned the raid acting like petulant babies because of all of the hate they got for it.
Nice try, the real Blizzardwatch guide has 18 steps, because they concede that this LFR encounter sucks too.
And you know what’s even more funny? These people who are so adamant that the encounter should be so difficult, HAVENT EVEN DONE THE MAJORITY OF NYALOTHA IN LFR.
It’s so weird how people want to dictate how something should be without doing it instead of listening to the players who actually do the content.
And you don’t think they has the lfr version done by then? You actually think they started the time line for its release before they fight was ay least 90% ready?
Well you can probably skip some then.
Don’t always have to drink the company koolaid. Sometimes you can make your own.
I am fine with leaving the mechanics in but some nerfs would be a good idea.
In this way the mechanics stay in, but the fight is a lot easier. Hopefully that will reduce the number of stacks of the fail buff to 0-3 instead of 7-10.
People aren’t going to learn, so it might as well be nerfed.
but it’s simply not happening. If it’s not happening by now, it’s not going to happen.
Nerf it.
Its been like 3 weeks. Chill
Actually I did finally beat N’Zoth (and got a Carapace kill to boot). The secret was: 10 stacks of determination to compensate for the terrible dps and survivability of the raid, a competent tank for Psychus who could navigate the corrupted synapses and keep the pools of Anguish away from the raids bodies and… VOICE COMS. We used Discord, but people could just as easily use the in game voice comes that people seem to have forgotten exist.
Now, is LFR N’Zoth MASSIVELY overtuned? Yes, absolutely. Everything in there needs an hp nerf. That fight should be balanced around ZERO stacks of determination with EVERYONE being ilvl 410 with a Rank 1 cloak and a barely passable Heart of Azeroth. The fact you need several dramatically over geared people (I’m 460) along with 10 stacks of Determination PROVES this fight needs another nerf. But I did it and if I die tomorrow I can do so without regrets.
