I’ll come fury tank for everyone, we got this
so i get people should learn mechanics but lfr is kind of just see the fight type of thing. better gear drops from mythic + so i dont think lfr needs to be this hard for the average pug that wont follow directions. we could kick 15 people but then it takes a hour just to fill. why bother with that when we could go do normal?
the point is to force players to get better. That isn’t something bad. It is good for the health of the game.
If they are not willing to get better at the game especially when it is already so easy they don’t want to play it anyway and have no place here.
community kills games faster then devs. remember that
Oh trust me I 100% agree with you. It will just never happen is all
Fact: LFR N’zoth is far more effort than emissaries. Emissaries drop higher ilvl gear. Meaning I won’t care to queue until it is worth the effort. It also takes hours longer.
100% agree with OP. Its just too difficult for some people to understand. Determination stacks dont even make a difference if people cant do the mechanics. Its incredibly frusturating to explain the fight over & over & still get the same results everytime.
The average LFR raider doesn’t want to get better. They’d be in a regular guild learning Normal if that was their goal. LFR is for the tourists that want to be super casual and run content that doesn’t require tons of mechanics. The days of Dragon Soul were fun for LFR raiders. Now it’s 10 stack pain and no fun for anyone, regardless of the personal reason or goal for being there. Mechanics like this have no business in LFR content unless they really want people to learn and get better in LFR, in which case they are misunderstanding what the community wants to use LFR for. If your goal is to “get good”, then start with Normal.
No noob get to N’Zoth, they need the cloak.
TBF, what your after is not much of an achievement.
I got into this for the first time like few days ago and we were at N’Zoth, I saw 10 stacks and then we proceed to wipe at 96% health, nope I left right away and I’m not gonna try this ever again, the gear do not worth the effort since I got far better and I do not care about achievements, Its weird because I remember LOVING MoP LFR especially “Durumu the Forgotten”.
My only guess is the fight doesn’t look fun at all since you depend on other to not mess up otherwise everybody dies, yeah its the case for all fights but this one look especially painful and punishing to a abused level especially for LFR.
Even the Durumu fight was somewhat enjoyable and for anybody who played and did LFR back then they know what I’m talking about, It was fun to see people die during the maze phase.
No point in learning a boss with people in LFR since chances are you won’t ever group with those people again. Its one thing to learn a boss with a group of friends/guild (normal+) and another in LFR. Sounds like you can learn to play the game all you want but if the people around you can’t it won’t matter.
Since LFR is queuing with random people you don’t get a choice who you group with outside of kicking and even then it takes more than one person to kick.
Sorry, the only thing I read in that was that you are lazy and awful.
There is no leader in LFR. No provision is made by the game to provide one. The fact that it’s all randoms means that often there is no one who is qualified to lead this raid.
Right now the situation is that this boss hardly ever dies. 1% or less? So it appears.
Have you punished those players enough for not magically tranjsforming into experienced raiders and raid leaders, or do they owe you 200 wipes before quitting the game to make you feel like you forced your will on them sufficiently?
Just asking for a friend.
Source required.
I have seen people saying they killed it at 7 stacks and seen people saying they were at 10 and seen people saying 10 plus more pulls.
What I havnt seen is anyone say they pulled the boss at 10 stacks then 90 more times.
You are going through need something to back up your bull.
Don’t worry about LFR N’Zoth. I just won’t run it.
It’s rare to join a run with less than 10 stacks and you can stay for another 10-20 more wipes after that.
I met someone who claimed to have killed N’Zoth in LFR. I called him a liar.
I’ve played for over a decade, been a healing coordinator on a progression raid team, got about 30-40 healers and I simply won’t run this stuff. It’s a waste of time.
Those are people who probably queuing in on Tuesday, right after they get home from work when most of the people with gear (and skill) are trying to get LFR out of the way for the week. If you go in the next day, or say, after midnight, like I’m forced to - you get the unparalleled hell that is the current situation.
I know… but I want my achievement and to see my toon kill N’Zoth in the cutscene. >_< It sounds dumb but that’s how I derive enjoyment from the game, and that’s what LFR is designed for. The thing about this fight is you won’t be able to solo it next expansion and I just don’t have the community anymore of people to go do it on LFR next expansion either. I just want to get it out of the way now so I can say I finished the expansion.
In regards to killing lfr N’zoth I will just copy my posts from other threads:
It is possible once you replace all the folks that are under geared, afk, or don’t do mechanics… Do not be surprised if it takes 4 or more hours and a lot of replacements. I cleared it after replacing the entire group 3-4 times with 8 stacks of the fail buff and 11 wipes.
I got my kill and finished my quest. His rewards are not worth the effort.
