Please nerf LFR N'Zoth (again)

They already tried this once. I forget which expansion it was, when they initially started LFR off as normal-level difficulty. It was miserable.

Maybe if Blizzard had started out LFR at that level in Dragon Soul to begin with we wouldn’t have these problems now. It works just fine in other MMOs, everyone knows if you show up and don’t do mechanics and don’t put any effort into your rotation, the group won’t clear. It’s seemingly just WoW LFR where this is a rampant problem.

They did start it out like that in Dragon Soul. Dragon Soul LFR was basically just normal with a queue.

I’m pretty sure they buffed it later, in MoP or something. They actually buffed up all of the difficulties, so LFR was the new normal, normal was heroic, etc. Then they had to nerf LFR again because nobody could clear.

Been trying to kill him again and still no luck. My group had 10 stacks for well over 2 hours and still couldn’t get him down. After that, some players started troll pulls to waste everyone time and force repairs.

Hotfix is needed sooner rather than later.

and isn’t that one of the points of lfr, is for people who dont have time, or can’t, do normals can still experience the content? so why nerf it to a fraction of what it is in normal? lfr has become so easy over the years and that’s why people aren’t getting these mechanics. because they’re used to not having to do them. make it like normal and it forces people to leanrn mechanics and also experience the raid as is, just one wing at a time. people wiping for four hours is a result of the nerfs, because they’re used to faceroll so they don’t want to do mechanics.

In other words, please don’t nerf it further. force people to learn and actually do mechanics instead of faceroll in five minutes

Just thought I would point out the irony - you do realize that YOU are one of the “people that populate LFR”?

Haven’t done it yet but I’m sure it can’t be worse than G’Huun LFR.

No one. Ever. Ran orbs. (or one person did and then died halfway there)

Naw, no need to nerf again. It is doable, people do need at least two brain cells to rub together.

If you mean Cata (Dragon Soul 4.3), it was not anywhere near Normal level.
I remember well because I was a main tank for our raid team throughout Cata.

Do you mean MoP? I was absent in that expansion.

No, it was an expansion or two after it was introduced I think. They buffed everything, so LFR was the old normal, normal was the old heroic, etc. Everyone was complaining that LFR was too easy, so the buff came out, and then nobody could clear anything so they had to nerf it again.

Gotcha. It mus have been MoP then, since that’s the only expansion I missed after Cata.

Exactly.

I don’t remember this at all. And I’ve run raids up until BfA.

Aw man you missed MoP?? That was actually a good expansion. Should have come back for that and skipped WoD instead.

Durumu and lei-shen are the worst. People could never navigate the maze for the first. And the latter people didn’t know how to properly soak/space themselves out in the beginning. And then when he started the winds, people could not manage to realize they needed to move to stay on the platform.

Like come to think about it, anything that requires movement (and presents itself as a target dummy), just absolutely dumpsters people in lfr. Guess people don’t spend 15 bucks a month to do “mechanics”. If they wanna dps the boss ain’t nobody telling them what to do.

Absolutely agree. Unfortunately I was pretty burned out after Cata, and decided to take off time. Came back for WoD and was severely disappointed.

Posts like this make me chuckle. All the, “Give us good gear for LFR and make the bosses harder” and the first signs of a tough boss and nerf cries come out day 1 and after. People also keep asking for a “Heroic and Mythic LFR” (which makes absolute 0 sense) yet can’t even do bosses that require mechanics.

@OP - You might have better luck pugging a normal mode version of the fight where people will be on comms etc. or pay for a carry.

N’zoth is way to hard.

I got it. With 10 stacks. The tank, a cool Blood DK was like the only one knowing the fight. I got to learn the mechanics and we did it.

Got my 440 sword. Achievement and might never queue for N’zoth again.

The mechanics get easy when you know them. But the chance that everyone knows them, nobody leaves are slim. This tank really had patience, because if someone leaves, the changes of another one that doesn’t know the mechanics coming are high.

In every wipe, several people left. The next ones that came didn’t know the mechanics. I didn’t know them, until several tries.

Ya, people that only do LFR do NOT understand that raiding requires wipes in the real world (Normal+) before you may get it down.

People in this day and age lack patience. I guess parents do not teach that anymore.

Because lfr has conditioned them over the years to expect easy one shots, where neither mechanics or performance matters.

Throw a boss or two in that people actually have to play the game on, and threads like this are the result.
