Please nerf LFR N'Zoth (again)

For real. I believe that the amount of raid difficulties should be reduced.

We really only need 2. Have a normal mode that people can queue for as LFR and a heroic mode that has a difficulty between current heroic and mythic.

The new normal mode would still be the same difficulty as normal mode is now. The difference is players can queue into it instead of having to go through the group finder.

Players can get better. If a player is actually trying they can do normal difficulty of a raid. many just don’t want to go through the process of finding a group. They are certainly capable of the difficulty and those that aren’t willing can get weeded out and either git gud or leave.

The reason I say only 2 difficulties though instead of 3 is because mythic doesn’t need to exist. As it stands it is tuned at launch for the best of the best who themselves often struggle. Over time it is constantly nerfed to allow more players to complete it. WoW doesn’t need that kind of difficulty. WoW shouldn’t be tuned to the highest end players.

The way mythic is tuned goes with how WoW is being designed as an esport instead of an RPG. People don’t want an esport. They want an RPG.

If I was a player who was there just for the gear I would legit intentionally stand in the bad or jump off and AFK until boss was dead.

Sorry but it’s not worth dealing with a bunch of mindless people in LFR

Who the heck are you to speak for me?

I enjoy mythic and would be bored as heck after week 2 if the highest difficulty was Heroic.

I am sorry but you are a minority. Yes not everyone can be catered to however we need to stop making WoW an esport.

Make it an RPG. allow room for error. I know in legion it was especially bad with the “if one player messed up the entire raid dies”

So your solution for players who can’t step up to a difficulty between normal and Heroic is get good or leave?

Glad you’re not a game designer.

No, we don’t. M+ is the best thing added to the game ever. I hope they continue to build it out.

If you don’t like it, leave.

See how awful that sounds?

These are the game designers we need. We don’t need these watered down catering to the lowest skill level. People can improve. They have no incentive to improve and there is nothing forcing them to.

I am not the one that came and hijacked an MMORPG to turn it into an esport. What about the existing audience that got shafted years ago?

They can get gud or leave.

Your words.

You can use my words against me but the fact remains your way is the wrong way. Go create your own game instead of stealing someone else’s to turn it into your own.

I don’t have to, the wow devs did it for me

and how long do you think that is going to last? the way WoW is being ran isn’t popular. If they don’t change they will be replaced. it is only a matter of time.

No doubt, bfa is a not great expansion, but that’s not because of raiding options or m+.

but these things are not unrelated. In the drive for a more esports like system with these new essences and such with it being changed each expansion. all of it is being designed in that manner. It isn’t popular. People want to play an RPG.

I’d imagine the majority would like a WoW classic style of RPG with that class flavor but with the modern improvements WoW has made so things don’t take as much time and the difficulty is increased somewhat.

He is mad because he has to spend hours on an lfr boss because of wipes after working 40 hours a week and he gets weekends off once a month.

I wish I had his 3rd world problems.

I work around 60 a week , the only time I get a weekend off is during the summer when business is slow and I have to use vacation days . Yet I have no problem with having to spend the time on a day off to kill this boss even if it means doing multiple groups and wipes.

Again, you don’t get to speak for the masses. You are no voice of the people. YOU want wow to be more of a traditional RPG. That’s a fair point.

I dont. I think competitive content is fine to have.

I think tiers of content so everyone has a niche is also fine. I dont think we need to distill raiding down to two difficulties, alienating huge swaths of the player case with pithy “gut gud” statements. I don’t think we should go back to the days where people couldn’t break out of Kara and only a tiny fraction of the players experienced the more advanced raids.

I also think if someone doesn’t like something they can just not do it.

I don’t like pvp. I don’t come to the forums stomping my feet about how much I hate that I gave to cap Conquest for the weekly reward. I just dont do it, and my game has been impacted exactly 0 by that.

So, don’t like m+? OK. Dont do it. Do t like raiding? Dont do it. It’s that easy.

The most damaging things to the game though, are the things we HAVE to fo wheter we like them or not. All these systems blizz keeps piling on us every expac/tier.

Cloaks
Necks
Essences
Azerite
Etc.

It’s pretty much ridiculous at this point, how many different mini systems were beholden to.

That’s the real damage to the game, imo, not raid and dungeon options for players.

Edit: omg phone typos. Too many to fix, sorry forum readers

They already did it’s called LFR

Why even have lfr fights at all? It should just be a queue button for lfr and after 20mins you automatically get ap,runes and 430 gear in your bags.

Stop trying to get things nerfed. If they nerf this they will try to find a way to make up for it by buffing or nerfing something else.
