No arguments there. Even the dungeon queues are getting ugly, and that was as a healer lol. I feel sorry for specs locked to dps and trying to do dungeon finder.
I have a family member who mains healer who waited a 1hr q for a lfr q itās getting bad
The āeaseā of creating a twink was a common counter-argument to not liking twinks.
This was before a few people went on a crusade about white gear, which has replaced that argument near entirely.
Not so much the āeaseā of making a twink but the āeaseā of acquiring gear so as to not have empty slots. In rpgs character strength is mostly determined by what facet again ā¦ oh what gear they have.
When I was new and decided try out battlegrounds I had a sloppy gear and talent setup - which lead to me getting curbstomped.
That experience did not make me quit. It inspired me to get gear and utilize my class strengths in the focus of pvp.
First - it is simple, and anyone can do it. Gear has never been easier. But that is not anything I said, now is it?
Second - BGs at any lvl are a lot like duns at any lvl. Your party (team) expects you to show up, like you are ready to do the job, and contribute. This doesnāt mean you need bis, this means come with some gear on so you have a fighting chance. No one goes to work naked, amirite?
Itās called freedom of choice to play the game the way people want, not the way you want them to play. They can become accustomed to rotations in bgs if they get the chance. How many buttons at 10 up to 20?
Win or lose it should be a fair and enjoyable experience, not OP twinks destroying everyone and health never moving. No increase in my queue times on Alliance side, maybe for xp off.
War and Peace incoming.
The challenge for experienced players that have played this game a long time, they become elitist, and forget what it was like to start out.
Freedom of choice also applies to twinks. In rpg games those who invest time to maximize character potential by gearing are stronger than those who do not.
The terms āfairā do not exist in pvp, and any attempts to make it so undermines character development - which is a core tenet of rpgs. There will always be those with a higher skillcap, or class imbalances or premades that slant the win/loss ratio.
Unfortunately for you Blizz does not agree. You have freedom of choice, build your twink communities and fight each other, simples.
False. With how active the twink communities were gear runs were always willing to help new people via gear runs or funding enchants. Or just offering advice.
Not false Blizz removed you from the xp on queues. Then you should have no problem getting your new people twinked for the xp off queues, correct? Or has the attraction gone? Like it did when twinks were removed before, because itās a level playing field?
I still think they can accomplish something similar but itād just take longer. And wouldnāt dilute the flavor the gameās had for 15 years, just in BGās or not.
Remove racials from all instanced content, PVP and PVE. Keep it as open world flavor. Over time the population would somewhat normalize.
Make the maps have the chance to start with the faction flipped. Like in WSG say both sides took each otherāsā castle, and they need to get their banner (flag) back that they had left behind.
I think the end result would be similar enough, and the game doesnāt lose a bit of itās flavor.
Your lack of comprehension is impressive. The reason twink brackets died is that it requires too much coordination from both factions to setup and maintain wargames.
As for being a level playing field you are an idiot if you think that. Class imbalances still exist. The dev team proved how lazy and inept they are by segregating the brackets instead of doing their job and TUNING the outliers. Such as specs or items that are too strong.
Keep sitting there praising actiblizz for its philosophy of using a sledgehammer to fix issues, while around you BFA subs continue to plummet.
Then you should have no problem getting your new people twinked for the xp off queues, correct?
Heās saying new people with xp onā¦
The āeaseā of creating a twink was a common counter-argument to not liking twinks.
It was more the āeaseā of having gear comparable to most twinks. Sure, there were outliers.
Your lack of comprehension is impressive. The reason twink brackets died is that it requires too much coordination from both factions to setup and maintain wargames.
Eh no real twinks build thier own communities, pt twinks stomp levelers, itās always been the way. Donāt get personal about me, thanks.
As for being a level playing field you are an idiot if you think that. Class imbalances still exist.
I meant itās a level playing field for twinks against twinks. And once again donāt get personal about me thanks.
IE cherry pick your responses and donāt address that DEVS should TUNE pvp, not just ignore the outliers and segregate the brackets.
How is it a level playing field for twinks vs twinks when we do not have a field. We do not even have a patch of grass.
āWhy, then, the worldās mine oyster, Which I with sword will open.ā
Actually I already stated I would welcome templating from 10-119.
