At that time, the mentality at any lvl was gear up .

I started playing in 04 when the game went live and at no time now or over the history of the game do i remember ANYONE EVER saying stop so we can gear up while leveling. The process of leveling by its nature is gearing up.

No one is saying i don’t have it, so i don’t want other to have it. Not in the instance of twinks, not in anything else.

As stated gear was not nerfed, it was xpoff that was nerfed from the random bg’s. Gear has actually nothing to do with it. Toons can still go to the dungeons and get their pieces if they wish.

Interestingly enough, I wanted to inform that when I tried fel-stones and the 10% dmg reduction potion a while ago, it did not allow me to use it. So I think they did fix the imbalance of that one by disabling its use. Think the debuff decreased armor by 300% too so for balance this was probably good.

You cant use them in battlegrounds, however they last for 5 minutes and if you use them within the last 5 seconds of a BG queue you can have them in a BG for up to 4 minutes. More than enough time to send the whole team to the GY.

This is exactly what I was referencing either. I know you want everyone to want you back, but we don’t. Your impact on queues is negligible. If you can’t scrounge 20 twinks together at a given time to get an XP-off queue to pop, then what exactly was the net impact of your separation for us? 5% longer queue times? 10%? Stop pretending.

5% or 10% in brackets where the queue time is 45 minutes for the Horde is significant though. 110 twinks are getting queues against eachother, but the biggest issue is twinks are spread across so many brackets. If there was a level squish I could see twink brackets being viable.

Even 10% of 45 minutes makes it 49.5 minutes. As many have stated, we’ll take longer queues for better quality BGs. However, I’m not seeing any increase in queue times.

Brackets with queue times that can get this high housed the fewest twinks to begin with. The impact of twinks leaving will be higher in the lower brackets, lower in the middle brackets, and higher again immediately before cap because that’s roughly how they were distributed.

In the lower brackets (where there were the most twinks), I was enjoying 5 minute queue times as horde post-separation. The difference is tiny- proportionate to the size of the twink community.

Now if only I could get 5 minute queues at endgame.

This may be the case for level 20+ where twinks and allied races can still reside, but certainly not for my experience below that when I tried. My dwarf was in a 1 hour queue, then I had to give up to go to sleep. It would have been really nice to get a 5 minute queue, but something certainly affected the 19 bracket after 8.1.5.

This seems to be a horde problem , at lower bracket 20 it’s 3 min pop for alliance US.

Currently it’s 7 min average for 110’s

The biggest issue are those twinks who winning wasn’t enough they had to graveyard camp.

I’ve had to go get the flag and end the game . No need for that type of behavior. And gives the rest of the good twinks a bad name

I am working on getting some form of tournament like they have for the 20’ twink

It’s fun vs other twinks, not sure how many really want competition vs just smashing undergeared players

It is more fun than rated at the higher level games can drag slow

I have a 109 holy priest I would definitely be interested in twinking if that is the case.

In addition, if you have a Legion account without BFA, you can twink pretty hard still, and stay in the 110 XPON bracket. You can’t get Azerite gear, but Antorus gear will smoke pretty much anyone leveling.
