Also funny to see yall talking about Grobbulus being dead. Meanwhile I’ve raided here every week for over a year and we’ve almost cleared Naxx and built and incredible community back up 
The classic player base is too split up. You have Classic, Classic WOLK, Classic Hardcore, and now SoD. Classic era will not survive much longer. In my opinion, it’s not worth playing right now unless you’re soloing a mmo. Many guilds don’t have enough to raid. The world feels empty, it’s hard to get groups for elite quests. I can’t imagine what horde is going through right now. Anyways, I’m personally not renewing my subscription until they find a solution because they way the game is now isn’t fun for me.
Era was equally as much of a fad, HC is over and the hype has massively died down there is one alive mega server of 10 clustered servers

Really should just make one PvE server and PvP server with all the clusters mingled into their debauchery server type narrated by David Attenbrorough.

Yes, which is why we got flight in WoD and beyond. Blizzard believed the “Flight ruined the world” crowd but quickly changed their tune when sub numbers tanked after the playerbase flooded the forums with “I quit” threads and “I quit because of no flight” statements on the cancellation form,and followed through with it.

Every time I go on Classic Era Grob there’s like 10 people online.
This is why there are no TBC or soon to be Wrath era servers, Blizz knows there are not enough people to keep a single realm open and playable
I don’t remember how many clusters there are still. But at this point they should merge the remaining pve clusters into Mankrik, and the remaining pvp clusters into whitemane. The rp servers can stay separate.

As long as Grobb RP PvP remains separate I’m fine with whatever blizzard wants to do to consolidate servers (assuming that’s what players want). I will continue to advocate to keep Grobbulus era unclustered and unmerged as we must make our voice known.
