Yeah it was a bit weird they added an alternative bear form but didnt bother with another pride mother skin, a black and green fel skin would have been cool, or even just a black kind of smoky effect one.

Not exactly. Mage tower is hard content; you can’t buy a carry for it, and it isn’t easy to do either.

Thats because Grizzlemaw was a new form altogether. New skeleton. Not just a new skin. And the want and demand for it was higher than any cry for Pridemother, ten times over.
Given that, i dont have any of the OG Mage Tower forms as i didnt play a Druid until BFA. But i dont think a fel cat form would.look great.
Im also all for them not coming back although i still yearn for that white grizzlemaw skin.
I have fel bear and rune bear and owl bear forms. Theyve given us a lot of forms this expansion and the Spirit shapes from SL. Its okay to have things in game that are no longer accessible.
Just ask for things going forward.
Personally, I would be demanding that the Legion model return. Legion for the first time introduced visual progression for feral and guardian druids with new forms for continually released xpac content so they’d have a sense of visual progression like other classes do with tier sets.
Then they got lazy with BFA and SL and cancelled that out. Even DF is not comparable because the forms you get in DF are basically recycled assets from regular NPC mobs in ED, not tailor made forms for the player.
As for moonkins, I hope in the future they extend the glowing aura effects of the flame moonkin form you get off Tindral to the other colors. That is, give us cosmic ice blue, purple, yellow, and green glowing body auras like the flame moonkin to match our other moonkin colors.
Right now the other colors get a very muted option of slight aura around the body but you have to give up the horn swirl effect auras as they are mutually exclusive, and the body aura glow is barely noticeable unlike the flame moonkin form effects.

It isn’t though. People use new players as an excuse but I have never had someone ask me about the pridemother form and threaten to quit after I tell them it is unobtainable now.
I remember seeing Corrupted Ashbringer for the first time when I first started playing and looking it up to see that it was unobtainable and thinking to myself that that person was lucky and did a thing during a specific time in WoW’s history.
I don’t know a single person who has quit WoW over a reward that was removed from the game years before they started playing.
Look forward to new things that will be added. DF did so much for druid forms, I have no doubt more will come in the future.

This is such a weird measure for that. Do you mean this is just your friends? Cause that might just be sampling bias then. Do you mean randoms? Cause yeah obviously they won’t then go “Well now I’m gonna stop playing” to you, because what can you do about it?
But in general, you are obviously not going to see the people who leave after seeing how much they can’t obtain anymore, or those who are not even gonna try. By their very nature they are not engaged enough with the game to complain about, to become visible in regards to this.

And that isn’t very much. You’re exaggerating and being dramatic. Less than 1% of transmog and appearances have been removed from the game. The game has had rewards for challenging content removed in every expansion, literally. Whether it is pvp titles, mounts, armor, CM mode transmog sets or weapon appearances, m+ stuff etc. Blizzard isn’t going to open the floodgates of player demands that will follow if they bring back any of that time limited rewards. It is a can of worms.

til then, there’s a ton of great skins you can get for your forms…you can live without a couple

Hyperbolic statements don’t help your argument. As Illaras already pointed out, the amount of items that have been removed and/or unobtainable is infinitesimal. People aren’t quitting in droves over mage tower forms. A lot of the people I see complaining couldn’t even have completed the original mage tower.

“How much” is not implying it’s a large percentage of the total, it’s not even necessarily implying “a lot” (which subjective). Just that it’s too much for some people.
Its only good in games where its free to play. In game you spend undreds to keep playing it isnt. Everyone should be allowed their chances to own something even tough they werent there in the first place.
Also with classic thing they have no reason to say difficulty this difficulty that. They can bring the same difficulty with same restriction if they wanted to

And your post is essentially, "I want, I want, I want, I want, I want, I want, " You didn’t earn it, you don’t deserve it. People who want things handed to them don’t stick around anyway, so don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

I earned them when they were current for feral. It was a pain to get them back then. But that was who knows how many years ago. I say let everyone have those beautiful forms. Why should we gate keep old models. I like the way they did the forms in DF. You had to farm them and everyone had the same chance to get them.

If Blizz wants to add cool new forms to the Mage Tower or Legion Remix, that’s great and they should. Give people something new to work for but let us keep our original forms unique. I worked my butt off to get the cat form and it should be allowed to stay as something special, not become something that everyone has.
You negate the reward for being a long term player of this game by putting it back in the game now. You also de-incentivise people to work for something if we know its just going to be added later, possibly being easier to obtain. (I hate that they are adding previously rare things to the trading post/twitch drops). For example, I am not even trying to do all the achievements for the Tavian mount if I think that they will possibly add it or something similar, later on, in the game.
My cat form is the only form I got in Legion. I loved the werebear but couldn’t get that one. I still haven’t gotten the werebear’s green version because I am terrible at Guardian and that’s fine. I don’t expect it to be given to me just because I want it. Let the people who earned it enjoy it being unique and special.

By this logic, they should just give me Cutting Edge for every Mythic Raid and rank 1 PvP they’ve made so far. How does it affect those who already have it?
No dude. You don’t get to change the world around you for your own preference or convenience. It’s gone. Ask for new forms. Not what you don’t deserve.
