Not yet, I just saw this new info now. I just meant I’ve watched guides online, youtube etc, and either they didn’t include the crystal part, or I missed it. I get frustrated easily when I can’t blast past something in an old raid or dungeon, lol.

Pick a class and study well
It’s a valid frustration since this is something they broke at the beginning of SL (IIRC).
TBH I haven’t run AbT for along time. I assumed Eonar was solable due to the repeated nerf passes they made years back. But if the fight is still that tight (even though technically soloable), it does seem a little silly. Such old bosses should not be that hard to kill. A far more logical approach to the fight would have been to simply render the ship do basically 0 damage tp the boss. Then you could simply ignore the mechanic altogether.
I wouldn’t pay much attention to that guy. All he seems to do is trawl threads and link youtube videos in some vain attempt of a “gatcha” counter argument and then proceeds to leave the same flippant remark at the bottom akin to “git gud”. Nevermind the fact that a video showing some rando doing it on your class actually proves our point in that it shouldn’t require a freaking video guide in the first place to down a boss that old in legacy content. I wonder if he realises the irony of his posts.
Imagine if you still needed a video guide to show it was possible to solo the Lich King in ICC. How hilariously stupid would that be.
Stopping to click the crystals was the big difference between being able to solo it and not. Dont stop just click the crystal and keep moving. Its also more efficient to kill the guy on the ship and directly run to one of the crystals on the southern part of the ship, get the other south one and keep running in the same direction to get the two north ones.
The other thing that helped me was not going on the ship the second time -_- …i kept doing that without realize you can just finish the fight right there.
Thank for the tips! I’ll have to give it anotherrrr go.
Good luck dude!
It’s easy enough to solo at base movement speed. You just start main door, kill until the Reaver spawns, jump to far high plat, kill reaver + spawn, jump to eonar to kill the dogs, jump to ship, kill the guy inside,
you can move while using the crystals
And then you jump to the far, low platform to kill reaver, jump back to main door, and then to eonar to kill the bats and boom gg ez
We literally just had the skip to Garrosh added, theres absolutely no reason at this point they cant add one for Eonar
While I agree, many people don’t have the items from Mythic Eonar yet. She might have something that someone is after. Making it easier to solo and also allowing us to just skip altogether for those that don’t need anything would be the best solution imo.
Every legacy raid should have a skip to the end. Would save people so much time but at the same time it would make me want to play more.
Isnt soloable? Watch this and repeat.

Thank you. This is very helpful!
No worries.
Wow. No, I did not. Thank you. That’s a game changer…
everything should be insta kill with lvl 70.
same with bfa raids…
but wait…
When they made those raids, they knew one day toons would be almost immune to their dmg and dps wouldn’t be an issue, so they added in “other things” to make it hard. Like the spine encounter in Dragon Soul for example.
They expect you to overcome those hardships, so you don’t just plow through there like any of us could in black temple right now.
You can now? That makes a huge difference actually. I normally get off the ship and Eonar is half dead. It’s tight but this should give me more breathing space
Thanks for this. These are much better videos than I’ve found
Yes please.
Eonar is easy to solo once you know what to do. Tedious, but easy.
There’s youtube videos out there about it that show how to do things in a specific order that guarantees success.
What Blizzard needs to do is make BFA raids easier to solo.
