The sock puppet brigading is getting out of hand again.

Sock puppet brigade?

at least from creating posts.

I miss when we had signatures. It didn’t fix the problem, but it meant if someone wanted to change characters and not hide who they were, they could.

Is that sort of activity against the rules? Genuinely curious; blizzard already knows what account posters are using, so it only works on us players.

If you could point me to where the rules says it isn’t allowed, I’d love to read it.

“a lot of people have opinions that disagree with me. That’s impossible… no one would have opinions different than me since i’m so perfect. It must be russian bots doing it, no one could possibly have a different opinion than mine since im so smart”

I never claimed it was. This is a suggestion.

I only post on my main.

Le’ts make it so you have to be a 60 to post too

It is fun seeing the individuals who are pushing back against something that should be a no brainer.

Why is it a no brainer?

Judging the content of the post rather than the avatar behind it is a no brainer.

Oh.

Not a big fan of going after folks that aren’t breaking rules, myself.

They don’t like that people who aren’t regulars on the forum are voicing their dislike of a stealth change.

And I am asking that it be limited to the same character.

You don’t even have a 60 on classic do you?

Not everyone plays the game the way you do. I only have one day a week to play, I can see myself hitting this lockout and ruining my day sometimes. I can also see myself unknowingly hitting it and being locked out of my guild raid the next day because there’s no way to be sure of your lockouts…

I’m not able to play for a little every day like you. For anyone like me, this change really hurts.

Who cares?

If the argument has validity, it does on its own, independent of whoever is advocating for it.

It it does, it also doesn’t matter who is or isn’t behind it.

What’s the purpose of exposing identity?

Oh look, breaking your own rule yet again. How many times are you going to not respond to me since I am posting on a non 60 character?

As a female Tauren (which is an odd choice), hiding behind a wolf’s mask (which is incredibly symbolic).

Why?

I am talking about the pushback against the request to limit forum posters to one specific character.

Can you be any more sexist?
