Well for time spent leveling, yes. They still need to wait for the transfers to open though. which will likely be after the 50% xp buff for WotLK launch has expired I assume, so they will need to level to 70 with no bonuses and it will be hard finding groups for 60-70 unless heaps of SoM players transfer onto the same servers.

Also letting scarab lordâs flow into the classic community and taking away the uniqueness of this title and others is crappy. You should have stuck to your original plan.
The switch to allow SOM into LK was unnecessary this late into it. Any future SOMâs need to be canceled. You obviously have no layout or agenda for these experimental servers. Unless you come forward and say what they really are: test servers for #somechanges on classic.
I feel happy for the people that invested the time and grew a connection with their characters. Maybe them being able to keep their âseasonalâ characters means we wonât see another SoM which is ideal.

I hope and I hope not. Personally I hope both will stay free as I play Era, for the game I hope SoM => Wrath C will be paylocked.

For those transferring to Classic Era, will we be able to transfer to any server on the destination cluster?
On the US East PvE cluster, my Mankrik character slots are filled, and I would be unable to transfer if Mankrik were offered as the only destination.
Bro someone who knows lol, They complain about the 50% boost, but dont realize that all of the servers were DEAD. I had to put in 18+ hour days every day for my last week, was a grind and a half lol.
I feel sad for you. I played on RP server, there it was - and still is - mostly like back then.

It would be nice if they removed the restriction on the number of characters you can create on each realm, up to the limit of 50 characters per account for Era as they will be doing for TBCC->Wrath realms before the server consolidation.
Or if Era realms are included in that restriction removal if Blizz would clarify.

SOM classic should transfer to SOM:BC, that way you keep these characters in the same format. Then allow transfer to SOM:wrath.
Changing chars to other formats its kinda unfair for the people that played normally.

It would have been nice if Blizzard supported TBC Era servers and allowed SOM Classic to go there instead of skipping TBC to go directly to WotLK.

The fact of the matter is, dude? thereâs entirely too many dead retail progression realms.
Like theyâve consolidated some of the extreme cases? but they literally donât need anywhere near as many low population realms as they have.
Like if their circuits are full, thereâs absolutely something they could do about that â theyâre just not.
