ACTIVISION blizzard’s net worth is like 74 billion while Zenimax (Bethesda’s parent company) is around 9 billion.
Emphasis on Activision for a reason, as this networth is based on not just Blizzard revenue but combined with Activision’s net worth. So basically it compares all of Activision and blizzard to whatever Zenimax owns outside of Bethesda. I am fine with being corrected though as I am not a stocks panda.

If Blizzard was making money off of Classic era (excluding SoD) and or has a high player retention then what it has right now, then maybe there would’ve been TBC era and Wrath era but since Classic era was and still is a ghost town, era servers wont happen.
Wrath era will have less players then what Wrath classic had before Cataclysm Classic, less players means less money coming from Wrath era.
Like Classic era, Wrath era will be stuck in ICC + RC phase permanently, meaning player retention will drop as there is no new content to look forward to, players will quit because they have achieved everything from Wrath or they got bored because of nothing new. MMOs need players for other systems to function.
We are in a game mode ception right now with WoW, We have retail, classic era, cataclysm, SoD, Hardcore and a limited time gamemode (right now MoP remix), this could be an another reason why era servers aren’t being considered but just food for thought.
Funny thing about pandaria remix, but are people really doing that for the pandaria experience. No it’s get the mounts and pets and never touch it again I would argue for the average person doing pandaria remix.
With wrath, that was the difference. I had planned on doing that forever with permanent wrath classic servers, and blizzard refused. And while cata has wrath content, it lacks the class designs among other things that wrath had. Heck, even vanilla era class designs weren’t as good as wrath in my op.

Fair enough. With enough insight you can see where they want to take the game and I feel it involves tidying up and consolidating the player base because lets face it, it’s a shambles of versions and populations as it is.
If I had any insight, I would have joined a warmane private wrath server in 2019, and I wouldn’t have lost wrath, because I wouldn’t have given that chance for blizzard to take wrath away from me a second time.
Oh well. Beep blizzard. They want to take away our permanent wrath classic wow experience. They can. None of us who wanted vanilla wrath should have paid blizzard a cent. If I had a chance to go back in time, it is one of those things I would change instantly.
