There is too much of a demand, and too much evidence that an RPPVP server is needed. All of the players that demanded one in 2019 are still here… so why not learn from the mistake? The rows of 70 dwarves marching to the Crossroads only to be met with resistance from orc and troll clans. The massive multi-guild Alliance vs Horde battles in the Arathi fields. The tavern trivia nights, the lvl 1 gnome survival races, the stories from Grobbulus are still in the minds of the thousands of players that demanded one realm of EVERY RULESET was created five years ago - and we’re ready to make something special again.

Here to agree, yet again on an RPVP realm. My first RP-PVP realm was Maelstrom, where I stayed for years, then played on DD when Classic 2019 launched because Grobb was full.

I would love an RP-PVP server but this is the problem:
I do not trust Blizzard at all.
Especially with how they treated the RP+PVP community with Grobbulus post WOTLK Classic and with Crusader Strike+Chaos Bolt for SoD.
- Blizzard will not watch populations or punish non rpers like on Grobb+ Crusader Strike. Them adding Chaos Bolt 20 mins post SoD release just splintered the RP-PVP community even more due to the faction locks.
- Blizzard will allow transfers eventually and the population will either go up… or ppl will leave to the other 2 servers. Causing a decline which will lead to…
- Server will end up locked, no new players can join who wanna rp-pvp and they’ll end up like Chaos Bolt and force transfers before shutting down.
I WANNA BELIEVE, but I have 0 trust on Blizz.

Yeah man sometimes you gotta take a gamble and risk losing. That’s just the way it goes.
But the try-hard guilds are already coordinating in the PvP server discord, and the RPers are still looking, undecided for a home. Once bitten twice shy, I get it, but if we don’t give it another shot then we’re dooming ourselves to never getting that Grobb-like experience again.
Wish you had come along to the DD Fresh movement. It felt just like Grobb did, if not more so. It’s possible.

Grobbulus was peak WoW gaming from 2019-2022.
After Wrath it got weird and theirs way too much lore and super creepy people running stuff/wildly mentally ill pseudo grobb celebrities in 2024.

It is just that you come off as a troll, and thus nobody here takes you seriously. Figure out why that is maybe. It could be helpful for both your online and IRL interactions.

Absolutely this. I think we’re all well aware that an RP-PvP server might run into some major complications; yet it could also be a brilliant experience for everyone involved. We’ll never know unless the realm is given a chance.
