It was the only medium pop realm because of its community that was formed around RP.
Again, this is the only time a fresh variant of Vanilla has launched with two non-HC servers to choose from. It makes sense that with 20+ servers, most would end up going dead. But weāve got 2. I am certain weād end up with a med pop PvE realm, a Full/Locked PvP realm, and likely a medium RPPVP realm by the time we hit AQ/Naxx phases.
And again, youāre missing the point of why RP players and non rp players could co-exist on Grobbulus. RP didnāt come to a halt like it did (comparatively) until the mass transfers.

What does a pvp server do different?
Can you not schedule rp events?
Can you not have a server discord dedicated for rp players?
Like to me it doesnt make sense why it matters.
Donāt make sense to me to be hostile towards a server that doesnāt affect your server at all. 
But here we are.

Much higher chance for people to grief coordinated events.
Less room in the open world to share while trying to coordinate events.
And again, if you had played on MG/Grobb, youād know the atmosphere is just different.

Heās threatening RP-PVPers with PVP, this is like threatening forsaken with corpses. Then heās complaining about people pushing back against his trolling by casting shade on the community. Just ignore him.
Moving on, as a long-time Emerald Dream enjoyer (started playing there in Season 2 of BC) I would like to add my 2 copper in support of an RP-PVP server. Nothing in wow comes close to the āstickynessā of RP-PVP where the RP fuels the PVP (elves vs trolls for example) and the PVP fuels the RP (warbands, troll patrols, hunting parties, holding enemy territory such as the orc camp overlooking the Wetlands and charging a toll (your life) for toons who want to pass through to Elwynn).
RP-PVP is qualitatively different from regular PVP and letās not let trolls make us lose sight of that.
