Really hoping this gets noticed and we get an RP-PvP server type! I think thereās just enough of a difference to warrant so those interested in RP have a more defined and hopeful outlook on where to rollā¦ Plus, if theyāre enforcing faction balance and locking it will gives folks another chance to make their preferred faction in one gets locked!
Iāve been seeing a lot of discourse over the HC folks not wanting a fresh hardcore server anyway, so just drop that and turn it into RP-PvP

You donāt need an RP server you can just RP on normal servers.
We shall RP on an RPPVP server.

There wasnāt one in the original Classic announcement, either; it was added due to a thread just like this one.
In terms of the ājust RP on the PvP serverā argument, weāve discussed it earlier on; in summary, RP servers tend to be good experiences due to having a united and welcoming community, an experience which isolated guilds located on an otherwise likely hostile realm would not be able to replicate.

Build your community, it was already said before that it was done on Grobb
You had thousands of non rp players transfer to grobb to leave their dying servers and Grobb remained fine.
Notice how every iteration we have dead realms and then Blizzard needs to offer free xfers and realm consolidation?
What if they skip that part this time by just making 1 pvp server?
Youāre all so hung up on the name, hell name the only pvp server an RP-PVP server if it makes you feel better.
There is 0 reason to have more servers.

Iām so happy to see this thread get get this much of a response, there were a few made on the day of the announcement that died out fairly fast. Weāre a big community, and I hope that roleplayers and others who would like to play on such a realm will continue coming here to voice their support of RP-PvP.

Gonna be tricky as they gave us less than a week to gather voices, but it never hurts to show our love for RPPVP and how amazing it always is.

Itās more the additional rules that RP-PVP realm types have, or are supposed to have anyway. If thereās not one, then youāre right and we will build a community of RP-PVP on the sole PvP serverā¦ but thereās really nothing wrong with trying to get one made.

I mean then later they have to merge and basically close lower pop servers.
They have done this literally every iteration of wow, the last 2 being sod, had to have everyone xfer to Crusader Strike.
There is no real reason to make a server for RP, you can RP on the pvp server.
