Also, the Grobbulus community ended up being run by a bunch of creeps who preyed on women and minors and deliberately covered it up by censoring anyone trying to expose it and would then systematically harassed those individuals.
Better there isnât an RP-PvP realm added in my opinion.

Yeah theres apparently a guild like that on Nightslayer right now.
To say that no servers have this, OR if RP servers only have this, is not true.
Grobbulus did push out a handful of unsavories, including Enclave.

All three Classic Anniversary realms are currently listed as Full. Not High, but Full.
There are two PvE realms, and one PvP realm (Oceanic realm is dead, as is tradition).
Not a single Cataclysm Classic realm is Full, not one.
Itâs clear that a second Anniversary Classic PvP realm would have enough demand, and thereâs no reason to not make it an RPPvP realm, which would absorb overflow demand for a PvP realm and also some if not all of the overflow demand for a PvE realm.

I have no interest in an RPPVP server, I also donât think it would be full. BUT, there definitely needs to be one - there is clearly enough demand for it.

Nothing wrong with non-full servers, especially when full means â50,000 player megaserver where you donât know anyone and you can be a total rat ninja with no consequencesâ

This is exactly what I donât want tbh. If it were to become a lifeboat for people trying to flee overcrowded PvE or faction imbalanced PvP realms, then it would just be like a regular server anyway and the RP designation would be pointless.
This is why an RP realm should have been included from the start or should have come out with Molten Core, resulting in non-RPâers being less likely to leave servers where theyâre already established.
As has been said numerous times in this thread, RPâers donât care if a server is full or even high population. Itâs all about how committed the people that are there are to RP.
Itâs better to have 2000 people all in on RP than to have 5000 people spamming chat with politics and running around with meme names.

Same here. Iâm not a pvp person tbh but iâd love to try an rp realm, was hoping to get to since itâs fresh and everyone would be starting off together but still no luck.
At this point itâs probably safe to say that itâs probably never gonna happen.
Never say never, but yea, itâs not looking good.

Pretty much this exactly.
The problem is without transfers when would they add it if they did? I donât think theyâre just going to drop that halfway through to TBC when people are already complaining that a year+ isnât enough time to do what they want to do (it is). Everything is so tryhard now I donât think many would migrate because theyâd be âleft behindâ.
I think they need to admit these megaservers just donât work the way they wanted and should break them up into normal servers letting players pick the new server they want. But that wonât happen most likely.
This is exactly the opposite of what the RPâers around here seem to want though. Transfers would make the server DOA you want everyone to start from zero, look at what happened in SoD with the transfers, all the streamers came over and hijacked the server. If they do this it has to be actual fresh, no transfers otherwise people who dont care about rp will just server hop over there and ruin it, as people here have said.
This is my concern with it now, too. The idea was to have it be fresh. Iâm not sure thatâs possible anymore without it being overrun by people escaping other realms.
Why it didnât launch with RP is the great mystery weâve yet to unravel.

Reminder to everyone that due to blizzard dropping the ball entirely on us the Dreamscythe RP community is trying very hard to establish we have some notable guilds such as Thunderhoof Tribe and some light RP events that are going on ( we see about 3-5 big events a week advertised on the realm discord )
But seriously Blizzard, great job on this zero communication, zero enthusiasm for those who are most enthusiastic for your game and itâs world, zero love at all I know we should expect it by now but seriously who ever is calling the shots on forcing mega servers and not providing RP realms is just plain ignorant to player experiences.

As a non-RPer, I generally prefer RP(PvP) realms due to the community being more existent and inclusive. (With exception to the small but vocal minority of super RP elitists who often ridicule Raiders/PvPers for being on âtheirâ server and not engaging in RP.) I would love to see them add a RP(PvP) server for the next run at Classic.
Looking forward to being a wallflower and seeing what you guys can make happen on Dreamscythe.

Non-RPers have just as much as a home as Roleplayers on RP servers in my opinion.
Not only do I find them WAY more pleasant to hang out with than other serverâs communities, they contribute to to PvE, PvP, World Activity, and Economy.
Nightslayer community has been such a wake up call to how much I miss RP servers.
Yes, I have met some nice people, but way more impatient, rude, and toxic folks.
I miss the RP tag.
