A.) Only roleplay with a certain set group of people, possibly out of public view and most likely not advertised

Or

B.) Don’t actually RP and just play on an RP realm. You just treat it like a regular realm and only interact with other non-RPers, so there effectively is no difference to you.

People seem to forget that even Crusader Strike, the server they had to use to save every other server for SOD, was RP-PvP at launch.

SoD was a total fiasco. Cru Strike never got a chance to be a real RP server because it was flooded by streamers and their following. Got immediately full enough they tried making a second RP server, but the damage had already been done and the RP community remained split between those who would tolerate the toxic, crowded atmosphere of CS and those who wanted peace on Chaos Bolt.

Naturally, Chaos Bolt then falling apart was their “proof” that RP was not sustainable, yet they failed to notice it only got half of the population in the first place because it was launched late and many had already “established” on CS. They also sabotaged it by LOCKING the realm and basically saying GTFO.

I’m sorry, I just find it incredibly difficult to believe if you solely play on RP realms, and I assume have done so for years since most of us have played this game for a decade or more, that you actually don’t see a difference between a RP realm vs a non-RP realm. Even more so that you claim it happens more on RP realms.

I’ve been on all of these RPPVP realms since Burning Crusade.

And this is just Drooler’s experience. My own is Blackwater Raiders, Moon Guard, Grobbulus, Bloodsail Buccaneers. Then there’s the multitude of people who came from Emerald Dream that talk about it too. There’s so much more evidence pointing to your own experience being an outlier.

So far on their ‘glorious’ Mega Non-RP Server:
80% more political swill
Disgusting names + guild names
Racist Names
Racist/Garbage ‘official’ Discord
Attacking LGTBQ friendly guilds
Constant aggression/negativity in Trade/General
Barrens Chat has become all of the above
Sexist commentary
Attacking RP Guilds or people attempting RP in public

This happens just as much if not more on RP realms.

No it doesn’t.

You get a handful of people that roll on RP servers specifically to troll but they usually get bored and leave.
You get 1-2 wanna-be elite guilds who think that because it’s an RPPVP server they get free access to the world bosses. Those guys have a 50/50 chance of being chill with RP or being active RP ruiners.

The rest of that crap doesn’t exist because people report non-RP names/non-RP guild names and then those people leave the server because they lost their “cool fun” name.

The politics talk isn’t even really there outside of election season.

What you do get are the same sorts of vindictive PVP dorks that take PVP personally and will camp you because you killed their alt once.
