Okay, my account was locked after a midnight purchase didn’t go through. Now, it’s 100% paid for an complete. Game time and expansions, there are no longer any pending payments, and yet, I’m still locked out?
All has been fixed on my end, paid on my end, nothing is pending. What are we waiting for?
Still waiting. Despite there being no real reason to lock a paying customers account that was simply trying to “pre-order midnight”.
There was no issue with main product or gametime purchase. So what is this? Why the lock in the first place, and why am I chasing my own tail here waiting more than a day for this.
Most of the posters here are regular players. We cannot do anything. The Blues here can look at things, but they are not GMs and can’t handle tickets. You will need to wait.
Make sure to log completely out of the launcher and back in again.
Sometimes a password reset helps to update the account.
Did you have active game time prior to the upgrade? If so, that game time would still be active, but if not, it may take time for the account to see the purchase being successful.
I believe there’s also security loxks on accounts. I haven’t been security locked myself so I cannot give much further information. May be worth checking your email in case there is something in there that was missed - check also your spam and junk folders. But beyond some aort of steps in email, you’ll need to wait on a ticket if I understand your issue correctly.
No you are right. There is nowhere to call, no live service. So even though the only hickup was payment on my “midnight expansion preorder” and everythign else was fine. The fact that I’m blocked from playing is a bit of a policy issue and new player issue. Here I am trying my best to return to the game, I jumped through every security hoop, repurchased the expansion and I’m still out here waiting.
I just think other new players should see this and perhaps give it a second thought to upgrade this product during this heavy ticket window. You might lose access to the entire game for no reason.
Why not just wait for the payment to clear up as it has instead of a LOCKED account.
I think some people justify instead of reason, it’s okay. But I don’t. As a customer all payed up, all security steps done, all aspects checked, having both my days off of playing games wasted because of a failed policy. idk
24hrs is actualy realy good tickets can range anywhere from 2 or more days or a week depending on the issue gms work 24/7 but they deal with hundreds to thousands of tickets a day and are in que.
24hr is normal for purchase issues - I’ve had to submit a few of my own. It’s definitely nerve-wracking to wait on, though, and I wasn’t even locked out. Glad you’ve gotten things resolved.
