Please Help Blizzard! Wrongfully Suspended!

So far this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced for having paid a $15 monthly fee to play for several months and years. The suspension to my account did not even provide factual or reasonable evidence to support the algorithmically applied and unruly + unjustified suspension, please help me get this lifted. What ever happened to “innocent until proven guilty” how does that not apply here? Is this game, server and company not based in the United States? I have legitimate evidence showing that I in fact did NOT PURCHASE GOLD and yet the response I received on my ticket initially from a bot reply and then a GM reply was a blindly issued response with no information or justification. The GM stated that any further requests regarding this ticket/topic will be ignored! HOW IS THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE? Nothing was investigated, my evidence was clearly not taken into consideration and I am very displeased/upset. All I did was exchange currencies from era classic to anniversary classic (WITH PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF) which to my knowledge is not against ToS. PLEASE HELP ME!

While this isn’t prohibited, it also isn’t supported. Doing this is very risky as you have no idea where the gold came from in the first place. We’ve seen several instances where someone traded gold between game versions only to be given illicit gold. In these cases, both parties are suspended as, to Blizzard, it does appear as though you were buying gold. Your only recourse is to continue appealing until they state no more appeals will be allowed.

Just to touch on one thing:

Blizzard only goes by their own logs and will not accept outside evidence. This is because screenshots and videos can be edited to support a narrative. I’m not saying you would do that, just merely stating why Blizzard doesn’t consider outside evidence.

The only way to appeal is via ticket. There isn’t anyone on the forums who can review the account action and/or remove any penalties.

How do you escalate a ticket if the last GM said all further tickets would be ignored?

You don’t, unless you want a permanent account ban for GM harassment.

There is no way to escalate a ticket. If you were told that no further appeals will be heard and you were told that continuing to appeal could result in further account actions, I’m afraid that’s the end of the appeal process.

If you weren’t told that continuing to appeal would result in further account actions, then you may continue to appeal until you are told that.

No sanction or ban was stated, the GM just literally said all further requests relating to this will be ignored.

The thing is, they are looking at something. The logs. And the logs showed them something that caused you to be suspended.

They don’t take outside info as it can be easily messed with and they can’t attest to it themselves. Along with that, they only escalate if they feel like it’s needed, it isn’t done by request.

Dealing with blizzard is apparently the same thing as dealing with the government and trying to get anything done. Infinite loops of confusion until you just give up…

If you were told no more appeals would be accepted, either you do give up and let the suspension play out, or you quit the game.

For clarity, GMs and the Hacks team (appeals tickets) aren’t the same people. GMs tend to have quite a few responsibilities, but dealing with account sanctions isn’t one of them.

And also to note the proof I have would tie directly to their logs so by them not taking outside info into consideration just to see if it matches their logs is unbelievable.

Let’s go with this and this alone. Can you PROVE 100% that the person that gave you gold was not stolen or illegitimate gold? Can you guarantee that you did not receive illicit gold in ANY way shape o form? No, you cannot. IF ANY of it was illegitimate, you are guilty. Period.

You bought gold and the gold was dirty literaly cut and dry if you have to cheat the system to move gold dont be surprised when u get actioned.

How do you get in touch with the hacks team that handles appeals? I literally click the ticket link to appeal I thought.

Also adding that posting on the forums will not result in anything whatsoever. The Blues here, awesome as they are, are neither GM’s, on the Hacks team, nor are they liaisons to them. the ONLY way to resolve this is via ticket.

Edit to add that I REALLY need that Invincible meme right now.

Please read the full post before claiming/assuming things that you do not know and are untrue.

In the case of a RMT violation, the appeal goes directly to the Hacks team. So all your appeals were dealt with by the appropriate Blizzard employees.
