They lose almost every single game, it has taken me over a week to get Brutal Gladiator on just one character that I’ve been playing consistently. Almost every single game I get in, we lose what feels like 90% of the time and barely get anything.

I noticed that the losing side gets around 800+ honor per loss. I’ve been in more Alliance wins than losses, though.
I also noticed that we’re not getting Marks from AV (Wins or Losses) Are you guys experiencing that too?
They were replaced in prepatch with honor post match.

Horde has been developing this turtle meta that I feel is backfiring on most games that I play in. I am not sure why it turned out like this, when it was the pure tower rush to boss it felt like either side could win.

So, realistically, the vendor for the +185 Honor items is useless for players that don’t have marks stashed then?
Correct, it’s just for people that still do from TBC.

So I’m supposed to single handedly herd 40 rats that can barely follow simple instructions to cap objectives. I cant carry an entire AV team.

Depends, technically Alliance has a few seconds advantage if done correctly in getting the first 2 towers down before Horde, so usually back capping 1 is the best chance you have at winning, assuming you don’t get counter back capped.
Yes. Have you not read BG chat? There’s at least 4 people every match who do this.
No, but you could ask BG chat for a few people to come with you for back capping. If you take back IBT you win probably 75% of the time unless no Horde defends towers. It’s a coin flip PvE BG that no one likes. It’s either that or premade WSG/EoTS.
Since you’re a pro, group up with me and we’ll do a few rounds
you can press “y” for achievements click on statistics > Player vs Player > battlegrounds and check your Alterac Valley battles number and victories number.
from me i played total AV 216game 88win that’s 40% win rate, not that bad even though i felt that i’m losing every single match
Idk, alliance is starting to wise up to the fact that you can just unga bunga Drek down now with towers still up.
At least until all the DKs get their brut gear and leave AV for good.
now horde knows how it feels to lose every game like when horde camped the IWB choke with a forward gate right by Tower point forcing alliance to lose 99.9% of the games in AV for a year straight. now horde has to pull at 7 min so that alilance doesnt snag the easy win.

i went alliance because i knew it was going to be 2x if not 5x faster to farm honor on alliance side for wotlk
1 down is the minimum and that’s with a geared tank and some healers. Not always guaranteed a tank.
2 is the typical since a DK can tank that.
