Please for discussion now that SOD is out

Now that SOD is out… waiting with baited breath for the following:

Fixes to BWD boss bugs (dks solo tanking chim, maloriak instant death to healing stream totem in blue phase).

Fixes to BOT boss bugs (fire of ingacious not spawning, sinestra loot box disappearing, sinestra orb tracking changing targets while connected to another player visually - without using an immunity spell).

Word on 10m loot and improving the experience slightly somehow… Currently its so much worse than 25m loot despite being harder (thanks im 13/13 on both sizes, wont convince me otherwise - more raid cds at disposal is simply far far easier time).

Word on 10m and 25m legendary staff questline plans for early thoughts & feedback.

Thank you for addressing the bot honor farming for gold <3. But the above things being recognised or at least talked about will help the community a lot.

25m is harder

Can you explain how healing stream kills people on malk? Ive had a few times where it broke instantly and killed the guy and the damage taken for the iceblock never showed what hit it.

I’ve seen posts claiming it is lightning shield, ret aura, and now healing stream. I am not sure anyone knows what is truly causing it–just tossing out wild theories because nothing makes sense.

Lightning Shield, Molten Armor, Ret Aura, etc, make sense to me, there’s a potential interaction there with the reflective damage. Similarly, I’ve heard that Holy Shock and Penance can switch their targets to the iceblock and kill it, not sure if that’s true or not.

I don’t understand how Healing Stream could cause an issue. It doesn’t seem like there’s any way for that interaction to occur.

(This doesn’t mean that it’s actually impossible, just that it should be impossible in a reasonable world. The World of Warcraft is not always a reasonable world.)

We were able to get it to stop by turning off anything that causes reflective damage. (Lightning shield, ret aura, molten armor, etc.) Healing stream doesn’t seem to be causing it in my experience.

The only thing that makes 25 harder is if you have bad players. All being equal 10m is more difficult, and the fewer chances at loot makes week to week gear progression even slower in 10m on top of that.

I would argue that logistical difficulty is difficulty

lol how would you know you spend majority of the time on the floor and being carried in GDKPS pulling 10k DPS

My guilds 10m is more geared than the 25m.

There isn’t any real fights that are harder on 10m.

Hell my 25m raids Tues/wed and we are 12/13H we had a 10m sign up to go kill Nef on 10m H because we were only raiding on Tuesday this week and we did it yesterday with like 15 wipes, the hardest boss this phase without an ideal comp.

Anyone who has done both knows that 10m is a joke compared to 25m.

I don’t honestly have a directly relevant comment…but you may want to edit one thing in your post, “Bated breath” not “Baited” unless of course your intent was to mean eating chum, earthworms and small fish…in which case all yours, go for it. It’s an older english-ish term short for ‘abated’ as in holding your breath…

Oh yea you’re 13/13H just on your other toon, the 1 you don’t want to post on…lmfao.

Stay hidden kid or we are all gonna see how bad you are.

ever wonder if this is the real reason its easier because they are more geared? hmmmmm

No considering they did 13/13H early.

And most of them are also in the 25 man raid I’m in.

There is far less damage going out, so much so the stuff that would 1 shot you on 25H doesn’t on 10H.

10m is a meme.

if 10man was easier then 25man then why does 10man have more Pulls to kill in prog then 25man?

You’re level 13

I’m about 99% sure that’s just tinfoil hat nonsense. The flash freezes blow up no matter what.

Worse players because 10m is a meme.

Lol where is your proof??? and speed run times don’t prove if people are good or bad.

Because there are a lot more 10 man groups than 25 man

Also in 25 if someone doing an important cooldown or job dies, its easier and more likely to have a person flex and cover it for more prog practice. In 10 its likely that a wipe and reset will be called right there.

There is also more 13 out of 13 on 10 man I wonder why

exactly why 10man is harder there is less felxabilty and more self accountability then in 25 you can easily carry dead weights in 25man vs 10man
