pretty much this, hes meant to be a challenge.
However remember - he has no enrage timer, you can fight him for half an hour if you need to. I completely ran out when he was doing the portal webs in phase 2 and just didnāt DPS him during it so it was easier to avoid.
Hpellipsis is one of the more helpful posters on the forums.

Dare I ask what character you are playing it on? At 631, youāre well above any gear check, it entirely is your rotation and ability to avoid AoEs that is holding you back now.
No, I think it is fine to expect mechanical skill.
Even at 634 as an evoker, it tookā¦ a while.

Devastation is probably one of the harder specs to do it as though.
Yeah evoker has it rough. DHā¦ Not so much.

Yeah dev is hard, itās been done at low ilvl too but you need a lot of stuff ready to survive the DoT on the ones you canāt remove with brann or breath.
Pretty sure itād be easier to just do it as pres and grind it down.

Theyāre actually a known figure in the community who tends to be helpful, I believe that they are also a streamer? Though the reason that people arenāt flocking to say all the nicest things to you is probably to do with the fact you attempt to insult and belittle people often.

Basically this. When I completed āLet me solo himā, I was at 613. It definitely took me a lot of tries, and there were definitely mechanic overlaps that were unfair and should be programmed out, but the vast majority of the wipes were my fault. I just had to have the humility to admit it, which in turn allowed me the look at the fight with less frustration and more determination.
I eventually got it after a lot of wipes, talent changes, consumables, but IMO, it was worth the effort ā¦ good fight.
