Please fix the issue where once your queue pops, if someone declines to take the queue, you are moved back to the front of the line…Well currently, and every time before, the front of the line is longer than the original timer to begin with. I’m currently in minute 23 of an 13 minute queue that originally popped after 10 minutes. This is nothing new, and I’m not the only one this happens to, this is a bug or issue, please fix it.

To top it off I finally ended up in a lobby with 2 much lower rated healers, a guardian druid 
a fury warrior, and a DH…The enhancement shaman is the kill target everytime, and it just added insult to injury.
it’s never actually moving you to the ‘front of the line’
it’s going to pair you with the closest lobby to match your mmr every time. if the puzzle piece who made your queue pop doesn’t take it and afk’s, back to the “front of the line” for u

Usually theres 3 reasons this happens:

Somebody expected a 20-30-40 minute queue, queued up, and went to do something else, or even went to the bathroom or something (this is why the queue pop accept timer should be longer, like in BG’s cause sure everybody is going to wait an extra 1 minute, but the chance of everybody accepting is much higher)

Wintraders trying to snipe eachother failed to do so and communicated between eachother for 1 of them to not accept

Some healer queued up but then decided they have had enough of healing apes for the day, or just decided to go do something else for a few minutes, then get their instaqueue again
That’s all well and good, but what I’m saying is, you don’t actually go to the front of the line. You end up at the back of the line waiting the original timer usually. So you can have a 10 minute timer, the queue pops 8 minutes in, it fails to load a group, and you end up waiting another 10 minutes to get in. There is no way that you have been moved to the front of the queue, unless the queue system has some obscure rules.
Well if you have noticed, the system tries to do a few things:
- Put other dpses with as close MMR as yours as humanly possible
- Try to not put 2 of the same class in a lobby
- If the above isn’t possible, it tries to not put 2 of the same spec in a lobby
So it kind of depends on your MMR and how long you have waited I think.
If the thing happens on an 8min queue pop, yeah you probably will have to wait longer.
But if it happens after a 25-30 minute queue pop, it is very likely the queue will re-pop within the next 1 minute.
We have to wait until Bill Gates starts cloning people for the RSS queues to go down.
seems like everyday after last patch q’s are just getting longer again it could be people not playing after patch hype or because less healers since hpal nerf shrug
