Please fix past expansions

So you figure they just got their money presses out and created a bunch of money out of thin air, is that your theory ? Money has to come from somewhere, there is no where else it can come from but current content.

You said revamping leveling content = not creating enough new content in BfA. I said, can you prove that those two things are actually causal, or do you just feel that updating old content ate into your desired new content?

Also, if you could go back and, for example, complete the quest line for a zone in MoP that you never touched and get level 120-equivalent azerite and gold gains … would that not result in more content being available to people who don’t want to just run raids/m+ at endgame? Rather than less?

I know what you asked but if you aren’t going to answer my question why the heck should I take a ridiculous one like yours seriously.

I am not interested in going back to MoP and ‘pretending’ that is new content. In fact, I hate that business because of all the conflicts we are getting in this game between new and old questing.

Anyway, I have said what I have to say and I really am not all that interested in arguing issues with people who think money is created out of thin air.

Who the heck ever said that? It definitely wasn’t me.

Unless you work for ActiBlizz as a go-between for financial and game dev, and can specifically point to the time you guys said in a meeting “we are going to cut BfA content in order to save money while redesigning the leveling content,” then no you can’t prove anything. How they make and spend money only provides us with guesswork otherwise. You can assume that they made that specific design/delegation decision, but it’s possible they would have released BfA in this state with this amount of content even without redoing older content. Allocation of individual resources is not something the general public is typically aware of, AFAIK.

So if you know all that why did you try to push for an answer. I find it very hard to take someone like you seriously when you try to make a point by asking the impossible. You can’t prove things don’t work the way I said either and I have game history on my side, previous expansions where they played around with old content were on the light side as well.

I am just glad that if I create a death knight that I can skip Outland and go straight to Northrend.

I will probably do that on all my characters just to help the timeline a little more.
