This has been said SO many times in Wotlk. JC is a good profession but the only one that relies heavily on dailies to get recipes and takes a ridiculous amount of time to get good recipes. Please consider #Somechanges for this to be like other professions.
You could discover them like inscription. One per day ND random
I would be open to all kinds of ways this can be made better. In the end we get screwed on dailies and use of stone keepers shards if I recall correctly
Personally I like the daily system.
Pick the one you want. Can use the repeatable quests to accelerate the process. And don’t have to rely on the AH or blind dumb luck to get patterns because every one worth having isn’t a friggin world drop anymore… or waiting until I get lucky on a discovery that never happens.
My guild is already preparing to send me all the repeatable items they get so I can pick up the good patterns asap.
