Well, many famous streamers and the leaderboard log players are doing the same. I personally know a lot of them as I do raid with some speedrun groups. Itā€™s not a secret, get access to their discord private channel and the price tags are all there. Its just they didnt raise to the public. I brought this to the table to remind its this crappy RNG system literally proliferating the business of ā€œdigging for someone as part time jobā€. It will cause a much greater problem than what some other counter-GDKP sayers mentioned of how GDKP contributes to illicit RMT.

You make something so powerful but only acquirable via tiny, pure RNG probability that consumes tremendous amount of time. What do you think people will be tempted to do?

Itā€™s like the drug issues across borders, but Blizzard has the capability to fix this Archeology problem at the source level. Whereas countries can hardly control the growth of raw drug plants. Thatā€™s the difference.

Most helpful fix is getting the unattainable items back in so we can start to close out some of the non-troll digsites

Apparently being able to transmog legendaries onto normal items is more important than fixing the missing solve items. Fun

Already seeing people running around with the bone raptor. Thought we couldnā€™t get this early?

got it before 450 skill, itā€™s much more common than 85 epics

Bad luck protection makes a ton of sense. It doesnt have to be a ton per solve either. Even with it, considering multiple items, you could still be unlucky and get 100s of digs on certain races. Its just having a feeling that this nothing dig isnt just nothing. Some progress is occuring.

People are burning themselves out. Its not healthy for the game as is. Its dumb I got the trinket in 60 digs and someone else is at 600 and hasnt even seen a rare nelf dig in over 300 digs.

No one is really asking for dig, rare, dig, rare, dig, rare hereā€¦ just a .01 increase in rare odds per solve.

Iā€™m not sure how much more I can do this. Dual boxing it so its combined but over 300 troll solves and over 200 dwarf and no staff or 2h. Iā€™ve invested a ton of gold to buy the green supplemental items, this is absolutely bonkers. Pretty much half of my digsites are fossils and because there are solves we cannot get its literally a waste of time to have these digsites.

Completionism is not a real thing in classic, maybe in retail, but not classic. Eventually everything you have done and everything you will do in classic will be deleted. If completionism is a thing people want to do then I would suggest retail.

Then stop , itā€™s not worth it. in the original cata they even said to not grind those because the chance was very low. Just get the second pre-bis, it will make close to no difference

So, because itā€™s a terrible ā€œalternateā€ profession thatā€™s been dropped on retail, you deserve to have 359 epics comparable to this first raid tier prior to cata launch handed to you? Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?

How exactly did they alter pvp ranks in vanilla classic.

Completing races isnt even a thing.
