So this was in a bg last night. And to this moment still has me wondering so much.
We were rotating back to farm on arathi and my group was me a mage, warrior, dk, dh, and evoker no healer since we were just trying to pump dmg into defense. We clear out farm all but 1 who run back towards mines a bit but stops at the bridge other 2 that were at farm just stayed back.
Before i get further this was a resto shaman and from the healing and the hp he had im assuming mostly conquest gear idk about full on but close. When i say this fight was almost 3 minutes and he never went below 50% and honestly id say 65 was the lowest.
According to details between the 5 of us having anywhere from 7mil to 14mil dmg again times 5 we just couldnt get this guy gone. The whole time i just see absorbed dmg like a lot of it then lose some health healed and back to absorbed and this was just repeating. He definitely was using mana cause it was going down pretty steady and when he got to pretty much no mana he finnaly started to go down but still not close enough for a kill. And then ran away all while no slows or stuns were apllying like at all just like anything we could interupt during the fight we could but 75% of the time there was nothing to interrupt.
So we just let him go cause f that noise.
Please keep this in mind i got some conquest the rest were honnor gear but are warr was s big powerhouse of full conquest for us so we had atleast 1 on par gearwise with the shaman but in a 5v1 idrt that it should matter really.
But can someone explain if this was just me not knowing how great resto is or what it can do, consumable use, other things just what had happened with this fight.
Also fun not halfway thru our evoker stopped and asked wtf is up with this shaman.
