Title.
I wanted to move this character to another account I own so I can at least play some retail while waiting for hour-long BG queues to pop.
“But just move retail characters to a new account qq”
That would require me to buy Shadowlands on another account and pay $25 per character? When it could be simply $25 to move one classic character.
PLEASE BLIZZARD why is this not allowed
One issue i can see with that, is that it would allow you to have two boosted characters on a single account. Granted they could add limitations to that, but still, that’s extra work.
That, character sellers, etc.
Wonder what the “blizzard only does things to make money” crowd is on this one.
I mean, we can’t keep giving blizz crap for “only doing things for money” when we constantly ask to pay them for more and more things.
That’s not an argument. It’s under the same battlenet
And this service was available in original TBC and is available on retail. The infrastructure is there
I’m totally confused. WHICH game is this character part of? Retail, TBCC or Classic? The error message is about retail, and you say you want to play retail, but this is the TBCC forum and this character is on a TBC realm.
What does Shadowlands have to do with anything? I don’t have SL, and I play both Classic and TBCC.
it’s not allowed because gold sellers would use it to avoid bans.
Because you don’t need it. It would allow multiple boosts to be on the same account.
Agreed.
This was available in Vanilla.
So?
We’re going to be able to buy unlimited boosts in three months anyway.
Maybe so, but we aren’t talking about in the future are we.
You might not be, but I am.
I am simple giving reasons why it might not be a thing atm. I am honestly ambivalent on the idea.
Just tired of the whole “they just do this to make money” argument. Its idiotic.
The mostly likely answer to most things that we dont like is because of time + difficulty. A lot of people in this community want their shiny thing and spout off that the only reason they dont have it is because of greed. The fact of the matter is that its generally time consuming or extremely difficult to do certain things. But greed makes these people feel their outrage is justified because its a bad thing.
On F****** god why is this not a thing
they will cave in eventually. there’s too much money to be made for them. just keep being vocal
The thing is; this was an actual feature in tbc, so what’s with the “need to cave”
Bs.
